However, I also got through fairly quickly on an old laptop wired to router, this had two tabs, one on Edge, other on Chrome - Edge won

There was quite a bit of bad press about the main sale; the sun had an article about the touting so the festival will certainly be aware it is happening. I can see the resale being back to F5 chaos we all know and love and potentially something very different after the fallow year.

I had a tonne of tabs, browsers and devices. Got  nowhere before anything we wanted sold out. 
Another in our group got through in 5 minutes on a phone with a crappy signal! 
There’s still a bit of luck involved!!

Managed to get through at 12:12 for an East Quiet camper spot, will be my fifth Glasto but first time in the van so looking forward to a new experience ☺️

 

for what it’s worth, had five devices in the go with a mix of browsers and WiFi/5G. The lucky winner was Microsoft Edge on my work laptop

You will be fine, it's about 30 minute from Gate C to the furthest field in General. There's a lock up near the gate once you are through the ticket checks. Its a good place to leave warm clothing, wellies, booze to save a trip back to your live in vehicle.

Managed to get east quiet today. Never been in campervan fields before so looking forward to something new.

Is there a preferential time to arrive on the Tuesday to get a good spot (close to the entrance gate)? Or are they all decent?

Yes, it's a necessary evil to get to the campervan fields, pretty sure the walk to Worthy View is harder...

A Big celebration for See tickets I think .... after years of promises they finally seemed to have stopped the double/ triple etc booking of caravan passes accidentally on the same registration .... unless someone can tell me different ?

There's at least one report of a duplicate on this thread. Though don't know whether that's against the same registration or not, and it certainly does feel less widespread overall.

I had the message, @Cooter called me and I got one using his registration. I then tried for another member of his group and got the "ticket already purchased" message. Then @Cooter got a message from his brother to say he had got one. So it definitely didn't allow duplicate campervan passes. 😊

The new WV hill has still to be tested in muddy conditions. The old steps up were a bit of a trek in 2016.

the WV hill is sorta sh*tty but if youre only going up and down once all day, who cares. Although I was crazy and did it twice every day. Had to go get the ruck sack.
