Gig was unreal last night. 

Great crowd, great visuals, great set list (couple of have swapped, still didn’t get Reckoner).

The band seemed to be really enjoying themselves. 
 

Overall I enjoyed it more than Glasto 17.

Solid 8.6/10.

Why don’t you read what I said in my post before going and telling other people to read.

 

People in my group got the email, tried for tickets and were unable to secure any because of the crap AXS website (if you tried for ticket you’d know what I’m talking about).

 

I for one did check my emails and was unsuccessful in the ballot.

 

Looking forward to hearing more about US festivals that no one on here cares about.

Well that was bloody brilliant

Last night was good, but I had a very drunk guy sat directly behind me shouting the lyrics into my ear throughout the first five songs. I asked for him/his friend to switch seats with us, which they did. But then he thought we'd made friends and kept turning to talk to us/give us high fives during songs. And got annoyed at some point too. Kinda ruined the night, as we were constantly on edge. Imagine getting insanely hard to get tickets, and then being so drunk you won't remember it and ruining our night and the nights of the people around us.

Last night was simply stunning. The whole setup was amazing and what a set list.  I loved every minute of it. Zero filler or drop in momentum.

2nd this, as close to perfection as possible. If this is to be their swansong what a way to bow out. Fingers crossed for new material as I cant see a lengthy "greatest hits" tour. A rare privelige

Absolutely amazing gig…did drink a bit too much, but sang my drunken heart out!
 

We also met some lovely people who took a shine to us and swapped their seats with us. So lovely of them, I think they recognised us as genuine fans…I feel like we’ve made friends for life, although I’m not sure that they enjoyed it as much as us.

Hopefully she went backstage afterwards and offered them a headline spot for 27.

Amazing night!

 

There was a group of 5 kids who can't have been any older than 16 who were in front of me. Considering their age and also how much face value was for those tickets (£216) and also the fact they had no guardian really surprised me.

 

2 songs in, 2 of the girls in the group leave their seats. 1 other girl left for a bit, but she was fairly present for most of the set. The 2 boys in the group, one of them looked like he didn't want to be there and the other one looked like he was enjoying it.

 

1 of the girls that left after the first 2 songs then comes back when the encore starts for Let Down. Then after that, they all grabbed their coats and left, either during Ideoteque or Weird Fishes.

 

So strange as those tickets were worth a grand combined and I don't understand why they were there!

If you can afford the trip and can get a ticket, do it. Great city, incredible band. Can't stop thinking about the show I saw!
