Difficult, but far from impossible imo. Four dates at O2 arena is a lot.

Yes, it will certainly be much more likely to get tickets than the last London Roundhouse shows. Also those Roundhouse shows were not limited to one show only per registration - although of course they sold out in seconds. So I fully agree with this: difficult, but probably quite possible to get tickets, especially those motivated to check regularly on Twickets re-sales, etc.

Wonder if it will motivate them to play similar sets every night, since they are really aiming for anyone to see them only once, although I'm sure uberfan will find a way to go to multiple shows.

I'm on the fence. The Friday one is the only one I could go, but not super keen without knowing the setlist.

Indeed, I'd call that a stadium gig.

Press release has PS say no further dates planned.

Given those dates, they are going to be Primavera's big get, the Madrid dates may well stop Mad Cool from getting them. And although generally speaking PS headliners don't play Werchter, PJ Harvey was part of the further up PS bill but played a bit lower at Werchter last year but at this point I'd rule them out of there which is fine as they don't interest me that much.

Have to admit, while delighted for those who love them, I have been a fundamental Radiohead agnostic much of my life.

The Glastonbury 2017 show is among my live standouts, which tempts me here - but at the same time, with perhaps the exception of Reckoner and Burn the Witch, it packed all the songs I wanted to hear into its runtime, and I don't feel it will necessarily better that experience.

Watch me now of course sign up, attempt to get tickets and possibly go abroad for it. I do have an addiction issue when it comes to these kinds of things.

I’m confused by how the tickets work. It looks like there’s a lottery system, but even if you “win”, you still need to buy the tickets immediately or they’ll be sold out in seconds?

Seems a bit like the lottery for the Oasis extra dates. In that case given time window to log in and get tickets and, while not guaranteed, not heard of anyone who got a slot and logged in at their allotted time failing to get one.

I ended up seated for LG last yr as my wife had a broken foot and was still in a boot (it was the first pre-Glasto fitness test😀). We were up high but wasn't as bad as I thought albeit standing is much more preferable for me personally.

It's only Radiohead so I don't mind going seated. Not like it is going to be a rave on the floor. I think seating would be preferable for me honestly.

I have registered but yet to received the text to confirm and complete the registration (they did say it could take a few hrs but am always wary when it's not instant!).

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
