The one surprise is Van Buuren isn't headlining.

The 7.30pm slot would be a bit poor.

I just looked at the Ultra Miami set times. He usually performed about two slots before the headliner. But yes, it is strange to see him not headlining Sziget, like Guetta, Calvin, Garrix, Kygo etc

Anyma on the other hand isn't really headliner material to me at all, unless he brings his full stage production

With the demise of Volt and Balaton. Sziget could of gone down a special route, they could of delivered a really really good lineup.

Had a big mix of Sziget, Volt, Balaton. Sadly they are probably to broke for a werchter in Budapest.

Was my goto festival every year. 😔

ANYMA is quote intriguing, never heard of the act before.

Just been doing a little research, he has a lot of guest names.

Will that be the same at Sziget?

Don’t know about Sziget but if someone is intrigued about Anyma, they should look into Afterlife. Because essentially the SHOW tat people are interested in is actually the Afterlife show. Tale of Us created this production company, one member of Tale of Us is Anyma, but there are many DJ-s, Artist are now under the Afterlife umbrella. So we could very well see guest appearances from them, like Rebuke, Chris Avantgarde, etc.

How can they possibly think Katy Perry would be a good idea in edition you try to take a turn for the better, level up the brand, make a profit?

She is known for fall off and is used as example as someone without fanbase, her latest album is only known for being lowest rated album of the 2020's on the metacritic.

How credible is this? TBH, I think there are many people who know her hits and has never seen her, and would likely think to themselves f**k it let’s see her live. Especially from Hungary. These people don’t care how her last album was doing.

The Sziget lineup seems to indicate that Balaton Sound is indeed over, and the EDM focus is now more of what Sziget will be doing. ANYMA as a headliner seems to be further proof. I asked @Sziget2025_Leaks about this at the beginning of this forum, and he confirmed Sziget would be more EDM focused going forward, so all these EDM bookings are not really a surprise.

Justice is interesting in the EDM field, but this festival is now clearly more focused on my 19 year olds, and not me. My daughter thinks this lineup is great. That's fine, time to pass the torch. They are very interested in this lineup, so they can go and I will wait and see about more live bands.

As for Papa Roach, they are great live and crushed it at European Festivals last year, but mainly at rock/metal festivals, and as a subheadliner there, too. (They do a killer version of the Prodigy's "Firestarter") I see them as a good sub on what will probably be the "rock" day at Sziget, so hopefully we will get a bigger rock headliner. I might go with my kids on that day.

It's bullsh*t. She's playing in Toronto on the 5th of August (literally one day before Sziget starts) and then she has a few dates in South America at the beggining of September. There's no way she's coming to Europe in between those two legs when she has UK tour planned for October.

I don't think it is at all and her being at Sziget seems very unlikely to me. Checked the profile, there are are a lot of tweets that turned out to be fake so don't trust that account.

Also, I am a fan of house music, but this year I mostly see techno on the lineup, especially 'I Hate Models' or '999999999' type techno. Last year we had Four Tet, ANOTR, Fisher, Barry Can't Swim, Dom Dolla and I really hope to see more artists like that if we are getting more house, and less techno DJs

Kenya Grace posted a Sziget lineup on her story and looks like Tyla is also coming 🤠

Words "Tyla" and "coming" are opposites. She cancelled shows on about 80% of all festivals she was announced for, regardless of their size or location. Sziget probably decided to find some backup plan.
