I've tried to look this up elsewhere, but maybe someone can help...

I've got 4 standing tickets for Saturday.  One ordered via SeeTickets, and 3 via Gigs and Tours.  We're going as a group of 4 of course so...

1 - If the tickets have different turnstiles etc, can we stick together, explain the situation, and all go in via the same turnstile?

2 - If we have to enter separately... should I...

A - Download all the tickets to my SeeTickets App (Gigs and Tours use the SeeTickets app too) and then transfer the 3 tickets to someone else in my group.

B - Send one of my friends my login details, so they can load the tickets directly on their app (to avoid doing a ticket transfer)

I'm just asking this as I've no idea how straight-forward it is to transfer tickets to friends etc, and whether it would get flagged up as me trying to potentially flog the tickets illegally!  But would it be even more dodgy if I went with Option B and one of my friends used my login?!

You should be able to transfer them to your friends but that option isn’t showing on my tickets yet.

Thanks for the info!  Which day are you going? (Just wondering whether it's not showing as an option for you for Wednesday (which is significantly closer!), or Saturday!)

Saturday, but it’s showing now.

I’m not sure if it’s the same, but for Heaton Park the ticket scanners were set up for only that gate, so if someone presented with a ticket for another gate it wouldn’t scan.

That's great about the transfers... thanks for letting me know!

Our standing tickets for Saturday say head to green zone (gate F) for entry.

Does anyone know if we might be able to get front standing if we head to yellow zone (gate H)?

Yeah as long as you're early enough, you can get a front standing wristband

I think as long as you queue early at your designated gate then you might bag a front standing ticket, but its down to luck. My son managed to bag one and I dont think you have to be there stupidly early either - I think he got there about 4. Maybe we was just really, really lucky, but they have to fill the front standing area somehow. Might be a bit random how they do that but he wasn't stamped and wasn't there rally early either but managed to bag a golden ticket

Biggest gig of his life as well, so I was so chuffed for him

It definitely worked at H last Saturday, and I think they might also do front standing at M based on something I saw online (makes sense as that’s the equivalent gate round the other side of the stadium).

There were loads of people in rear standing when we went into front standing so assume if you went in your assigned gate that’s where you were sent.

Thanks for the replies to the earlier question.

Does anyone know if they issue wristbands for front standing during the day or only start when it gets close to doors opening?

Hoping we might be able to secure front standing then spend a few hours sampling nearby pubs or Boxpark.

We went down early morning with the same plan and had hands stamped to get in later on. We were told we could go back whenever we wanted and then when we arrived were told it was full ... took some LENGTHY arguments with security but were eventually issued front standing wristbands. This was about 6pm. So to be safe, if you are to go get stamped early, I'd go back before doors

Yeah I think the stamp thing is a bit of an odd thing to offer. I'm glad you managed to get in and stood your ground on it though.

I just feel like you should have to actually stay around there (or thereabouts like Wimbledon for example) if you're in the queue and not have people who just walked up there at 10am for 2 seconds and then just carried on their day (although I think I heard Springsteen does something similar so they aren't the only ones). I wonder if it'll alter for Wednesday. I think they should change the signs outside the stadium if the front is full or fully allocated too rather than wait for people to get to the gate.

No shade at you btw, you were right, just a general thought about the process

I agree... Shouldn't be able to just walk up and get a stamp / wristband before going off to enjoy your day...

HOWEVER this is just for the front standing AREA... Those that want to get front front, as in on, or close to, the barrier, will surely still be waiting in the queue for hours, won't they?

And regardless of how the first come first served system is managed, it's still preferable to a paid golden circle by some margin!!!!

Fully agree mate and fair point about the effort still needed to get properly at the front.

Oh I actually think it's amazing, almost a 90s/00s throw back to have this system in place. Given the ticket price criticism etc they easily could have ticketed the whole thing at £600+ a pop as most acts do these days. A front standing area that everyone with a GA ticket has some chance of getting in is just brilliant.

Got GA tickets for Sunday

worried about difficulty getting to the bars for a beer reload once Oasis are on , well prob from Ashcroft onwards really

have seen some chat they might be selling cans of lager in 4 packs , rather than just pints

anyone know if cans are available in GA , and if they will give you them unopened or not?

if you can buy 4, drink one and pocket the other 3 for later that would remove all concerns (other than price ha - £29).

Sounds too good to be true. I think they often insist on opening cans , prob to try and avoid idiots launching them. Also not even sure they would sell them in GA due to threat of people chucking empties

can anyone who has been shed any light?

cheers in advance

I'd be surprised if they let you buy them sealed, in my experience they're supposed to open them for you at Wembley, so that you can't use them as a missile. I have been able to sweet talk bar staff into 'forgetting' in the past, at both Wembley and in the SE corner at Glastonbury.

I've a spare for tonight! I'm going too, got a seat next to the spare, so can meet up and trade in cash/PayPal in person

Block 112

Row 7

£270 (what I paid in ticketswap)

Should be a good view of the stage and screens and the crowd.

Let me know if you fancy it 😊

At Manchester I got a couple of ciders in between Ashcroft and Oasis. Once they had gone I didn't risk the bar again for missing too much/getting back to mates. Didn't feel like I was missing the drinks. Too busy singing and dancing. Couple of mates that did leave didn't find their way back to us and ultimately had a sh*t time comparatively. I'd had enough during the day and when getting to Heaton Park and it was defo the right choice to not head to the bar during Oasis. I'm not sure at what song I would think "Right then. To the bar"

Heaton park was surprisingly great for drinks, at least at the back of GA. Huge bars with loads of people on, and no real queues even after Ashcroft. Brothers pints too!

Why not though? In Cardiff they were issuing wristbands from the morning and letting people go off to avoid large crowds/queues outside all day. Easier to manage from a security perspective. And as you said, those who want to get to the barrier have the option to continue queuing throughout the day. Seems a pointless exercise to me to make everyone wait around all day, clogging up space and holding down spots for people to cut the queue etc

The issue at Wembley was they were doing these silly stamps instead of wristbands from the off

There should just be a limit to the time you have to come back that's all. You should have to come back at like 3pm to queue in my opinion. It's a little chaotic here at Wembley tonight. Signs all say everyone with GA can go to front standing areas, so people keep coming. Yellow keeps pointing at red. Red keeps pointing at yellow. They say it's full but no one has tracked the amount of stamps. Then someone could rock up at 8pm, just because they spared two mins at 9am. Not sure about it thats all. I fully accept your points re managing crowds and security though, that's exactly why they do the stamps
