Amazing thats an early win even for this thread .... congratulations , I suspect they spread the winners out over the competition period . 3 is much easier than 5 .... it's just one group to get in for

From a marketing point of view they will probably have a few early doors to grab people’s interest and boost sales. Then sporadically to stop people getting disheartened and stop buying with a big chunk at the end to allow them to do a still 6 pairs of tickets left to be won type of thing

It's also advertised on Facebook. Not sure if there's a difference, as I don't know the ins and outs of either Facebook or Instagram.

Got a fairly long drive tomorrow, extending my route by about 45 minutes to drop into 6 different Co-Ops to buy cheese and pilsner!

The Brooklyn pilsner comp ends today, but only one purchase per week counts.

9 - This promotion starts at 00:00 on 26 February 2025 and ends at 23:59 on 1 April 2025 (Closing Date). All entries must be received by the Closing Date. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received by the Closing Date for any reason. Proof of sending shall not be deemed to be proof of receipt.

10 - Entrants may only enter this promotion using their Membership Card. Each in-store or online purchase qualifies for one entry. No more than 1 entry will be accepted per person per week for the duration of this Promotion (a maximum of five entries in total). Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will be invalid.

Feels a bit odd these Co-Op related ones, as they blast all over social media about them then the reality of participating stores is actually very small (has anyone found a store promoting it yet?!)

Social media = free.
POS in shop, transporting, staff putting it up = ££

The way I see it, less that know about it (or are reminded in the shop) the higher chances we have.

Yeh I get that, but it mentions only available at 'participating stores'

I think any Co-op that's part of the "main" (for lack of a better word) group can be considered to be participating?

ok thanks.

I emailed them - and twice got replies saying they weren't sure which stores were participating after they didn't even know about the competition to start with, they were then 'investigating' and then radio silence after that.

    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
    • Looking forward to Doja Cat letting us all know what is going on later on today. It is a good job that somebody is keeping us informed.
    • They've got a few gigs in Dec/Jan.  Hoping to pick up a couple of tickets for Margate later today
