I' m pretty sure there's no extra charge. Thanks to 30 years of the festival, we'll just have a 5 day festival. After all, we can see the extended date of the festival in the magazine.

And the festival likes to give something extra without increasing the price of already purchased tickets.

Let's just wait

Do we know when this is likely to be announced? Assuming if they’ve been confident enough to go to print with it, the rest of the dates on that poster are probably right too.

I’m in Barca on the 9th so I’m trying to convince my other half to stay out there for one more day so I can go and see them there but I need something concrete to convince her haha

I think GnR just postponed a planned announcement for this week. This was printed days/weeks ago, there are posters around Lithuania about the show and I think Wacken also posted and then deleted a post so it's probably just GnR's marketing team stopping postponing an announcement for some reason.

First riddle coming this afternoon. It seems that people on socials are expecting a 3rd headliner, as it was the case in the past.

Anyway, it's gonna be fun, we have at least 24 names in front of us until the end of the year 🙂

I’m considering selling my Download festival ticket and doing RFP instead because this lineup is an insane value. Will be my first time and admittedly don’t know much about RFP. Just two quick questions:

1.) Does RFP have something similar to the village at Download, or have after parties? I saw above that it gets quiet around midnight

2.) Assuming the vibes are amazing and the crowd is great? Everyone looks so happy in the online photos lol

Thank you!

For afterparties, you have a number of options. There are DJ after parties going in tents until 2am on Wed/Thu, 3am on Fri/Sat, silent disco, etc. Comfy+ area afterparty runs until 4am each day, it's a part of Comfy+ ticket on top of other goodies. Check their website for details.

Vibe is great, no need to worry 😉

Yeah this is definitely on my radar for next year too now. One of my friends is trying to convince us to go to Download that weekend but I’m looking at the price of tickets and flights for this and currently it’s cheaper than a Download ticket alone. Been looking at the last couple of years line ups and they usually have a few indie/alternative names in the mix to vary the line up (already got a good start on that this year with Fontaines and Idles) which is right up my street.

I did have a theory that The War On Drugs might have been the headliner on the 11th and that is why they weren’t supporting Fender’s first Newcastle date as they don’t really fit into Nova Rock or anything else around the same time but RfP confirmed on Facebook that Avenged Sevenfold will be headlining the 11th.

Was it going that late on Wed/Thu? I remember when we were looking for some after party after Neck Deep this year but everything closed just before 1am…

Thank you, I appreciate the help! I’m coming solo from the US, doing both RAR and now likely RFP back to back. This lineup is an insane value, almost like $200 USD cheaper than DL before camping

Assuming it’s likely that the Friday headliner is going to be Korn? Playing Nova Rock on Wednesday then Download on Sunday

I would say that would be too heavy with all of the 3 headliners being "heavy". Typically there is some rock/indie name.

Would see more likely someone like QoTSA or Vampire Weekend (they have been in preselection of the bands)

Havent checked if they are around though.

QOTSA would be amazing, but they were previously announced for this year's Colours of Ostrava.

They were re-announced for some 2025 festivals like Pohoda, Oyafestivalen etc.

So I assume that Colours could have them for 2025 as well.
