I still think it's Korn but there are some smaller headliner options around:

- Falling In Reverse (honestly, I hope it's not them - would be such a risky move)

- Rise Against

- Bullet For My Valentine (bit of a stretch, would feel incredibly unbalanced)

I don't think they want the same headliners as Nova Rock.

FIR - sold out the Prague show easily, but I am sure they are aware how they are problematic...

RA - they can headline in Germany, but not in CZ

BFMV - might be announced after their February show? But I don't think that they will have another "heavy" headliner.

Are there any non-metal headliners around? Kings of Leon, Sex Pistols, Aurora, Roxette 😅, Girl In Red, King Gizzard,...

Rise Against played in the same 'venue' in Prague as The Offspring 2 years ago and they headlined...

KoL - they're available but I hope not, so boring. Also, I believe they've never played in Czechia.

Sex Pistols - it depends which day they are playing at Download but is it headline worthy?

Aurora - unavailable, she's doing multiple shows in Norway over that weekend.

Roxette - you serious? 😅

Gir In Red and King Gizzard - nowhere near big enough...

IIRC they said that both remaining headliners will be announced during advent calendar.

That means it wont be them... Or maybe not as headliner.

If you see The Offspring Prague show ticket sale, it's almost sold out... They are now selling 2-3 times more than before. RA's attendance in Prague was poor, they had 1/2, maybe 1/3 of The Offspring show.

KoL is boring, but they need a name that would be different from those 3 headliners.

Roxette are playing somewhere, but hopefully far away from Hradec 😂

GiR or Gizzard, why not? Could be their new Yungblud.

I think their Prague show probably rules them out as headliner but what are people's thoughts on Electric Callboy being on the bill? Hoping for them as a sub or second stage headliner. Aware they're headlining Nova Rock but that's clearly a last minute bump-up from a headliner dropping out.

It seems like they are exclusively signed by other Czech agency/promoter which makes them unlikely I guess.

Certainly seems that way, also looks like they’ve put up a “Bubbles” teaser. Unsure how that links to GNR but could definitely be Biffy (everyone seems to think it is), and if it is that is interesting as they headlined here in 2022 and they’re at Nova on the Friday of RfP (the only day missing a headliner currently).

Could easily not be them but that would be two great confirmations for me

Likely is Biffy. They headlined the second stage in 2022 - the main stage wasn't open on their day.

Edit - I think they'll be second stage headliners again or main stage sub. Don't see them as having done anything in the last few years to elevate them.

Ah I apologise, was unfamiliar with RfP then and just browsing past line ups, thanks for the info!

I wouldn’t see them as headliners, just based on their billing elsewhere around Europe this Summer but would be a great booking for me

Guns N’ Roses confirmed for Sunday 15/6. It’s a separate concert (not part of the actual festival) so you need to buy a ticket but those who already have tickets for RfP will get a discount.

That's what I thought after seeing leak poster from them.

It would be too much to get Guns n Roses for free 😄

Well, a local twitch streamer said that it will be Viktor Sheen 😄

This honestly wouldn't surprise me because everything else with this line up is a bit too good to be true at the minute for those of us who long for the days of seeing a festival replicate the old Leeds and Reading type line ups of the mid-00s haha!

Linkin Park, A7X, Slipknot, GNR, Fontaines DC, Idles, MIW, In Flames, Biffy, Circa Waves, Lorna Shore, Spiritbox and Jerry Cantrell (plus more) is proper value for money in the modern gig world for £220(ish) a ticket in the modern world. You'd imagine something has to give somewhere and bumping a Czech rapper to headline would probably work for them, as much of a shame that would feel to someone debating coming from abroad.

It wouldn’t work. It’s like bumping Aitch to headline Download 😀 I would say it’s mostly kids and teenagers who listen to Viktor Sheen. Redzed, on the other hand, could work but that’s still some crazy scenario 😅

Ah that’s alright then! You’re obviously much better placed to know about these things than me mate, so I’ll hold out some blind optimism that we’re getting a Korn/KOL sized band until it either happens or doesn’t haha!

On another note, the GNR tour poster seems to confirm Rival Sons supporting on the 15th, another good confirmation for me

it's not Korn sadly... they've confirmed in the comments on Facebook that Korn aren't available...
