They are playing this year? Or is it a d-ream? Just listened to bbc whilst Sunak was trying to give his election speech.  All I heard was that song. Felt great

Wonder if they will try and capitalise on Glasto being a week before and get Starmer there doing a speech/Q&A, a la Corbyn (appreciating that didn't end well) - could be great publicity and get a few more young'uns to turn up and vote for them

Can definitely see something like that happening. Angela Rayner is already scheduled for a talk at leftfield.

To be fair you could have a point. As it's literally a few days before voting they will be too busy. Still letting the news sink in tbh.

I guess it's different to when they decided to hold the Brexit referendum on the night before Glastonbury.

I'm getting one just as a protest for them bringing in the ID rule.

I postal vote, but sorted out the voter ID certificate anyway.  It was pathetic, no security to check my identity in the process at all, just send a photo and get a single A4 piece of photocopied paper that any idiot with Photoshop and 5 minutes could knock up.

Imagine difficult for Angela to turn up. But at the same time, might get good media coverage.  Think her seat is safe so my be good national coverage. Anyway, make sure all of us and young ones have ID. Most important thing

Gonna make Glastonbury an even bigger party this year. The end of the Tory scum at last. Roll on summer!

should have been similar with the Brexit vote, only it wasn't.

Mr “Tory light”

Not a good idea, more likely to lose votes.
