That'll be cool. Those Eden Project gigs are brilliant. Saw The Levellers there a while back. You get a free pass to the Eden Project for a day then get to see a few cool bands. Plus there's a campsite walking distance away.

I like Biffy so would still be up for seeing them but their only two shows so far are Cornwall and Scotland. Two of the bits of the UK the furthest journey from where I live.

Although, from the way Simon talked about it in Halifax last year, I assumed the new record would land in the spring and that they might have done arenas through May. Never materialised of course, so would wager an autumn run is on the cards.

Biffy confirmed for Glasto, so I'd definitely expect them to do a UK festival run.

If Deftones are indeed around, I can see them being one - unless they are tapped up to top next year.

 

Biffy a very good shout, given I don't think they'll headline in 2026, and it allows them to boast about having an existing headliner.

Thing is though, Biffy secret set at Download isn't something people want. On the whole, Biffy isn't wanted at Download and they are definitely a band where the crowd votes with their feet.

Maybe it could still happen as a fairly niche secret set.

Worth noting currently Architects are only selling the bottom level for their show at O2 Arena, makes it a similar size to Wembley Arena if I'm not mistaken

They aren't selling the Manchester date well at all either current. Standing easily available. Much easier to get from Brighton direct to London too. The tickets prices for those tickets are also well below anyone else taking them on. I'd be amazed if they were chosen to headline next year currently whether it was with two big options or not.

Architects prices being north of fifty quid was silly to me, to be frank, but they appear to have mostly shifted the lower tier at Co-op Live now.

It's only like £57 though. I dont think it's unreasonable to think a sub for band their size should be charging £57. The Offspring are playing the same venues and more on their tour and sold our really quickly at £60/65 a go.
