25 UK return
26 Euprope and US
27 Festivals but more likely IOW

Recent precedent is split on that tbf. Blur played a lot of mainland Europe shows along with their main two big Wembley dates, whereas Pulp were UK only last year and are now playing everywhere but the UK this year.

Don't see that this will be them back together for a long stretch. More likely that they do this run of gigs and go their own ways again stat.

I guess it depends what they announce tomorrow but yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if it's 2025 only for now.

I didn't think Oasis every really cracked the US? Not sure they'd play warm up gigs there

Pulp never really broke America but are playing there next month.

In their last tour in 2008, Oasis were playing large theatres or small arenas in America, which I think was about the level they got to.

No they made tits of themselves a few times and their general laddish amateur hour behaviour and performances didn't wash with the US market.

Who gives a toss about cracking the US market?

When did the US become the yardstick for rock n roll bands? Most of the best ones are from England.

US kids listen to RnB and hip hop mostly. They have abysmal taste in music and I know that as I used to live there.

Who gives a toss about cracking a music mad country of 300 million people where you can charge 3 or 4 times the price of a ticket in Europe?

You've bought your Lego people already? A Lego Fred or a Lego Oasis?

Lego Fred … can’t be assed with Oasis brothers tbh although I might see them if nothing else takes my fancy . Won’t bother making a hat for bottles of piss to be launched at it though . Lego Fred has been commissioned along with eavi … so can be sent together

Dec, 2008...

night before was Neil Young/Wilco in the same venue, which Noel attended too

Sounds like its long runs of dates at Hearon Park and Wembley, no?

Yeah. Aw do you mean like less venues so less time travelling together?

I guess it depends what actually materialises and how many years they stick around. It's not inconceivable they have made up, Noel divorced and their Mum must be old and it was a 15 year feud over not much as far as i can tell

    • We head out in the morning. Couple of nights in New York then up to Boston. Enjoy the games lads and hopefully we get some great football to take our minds off the whole shitshow off the pitch.
    • White Stripes/QotSA at Harewood 2007, Tramlines (and Blue Dot, same weekend) in '23, and Elbow at Jodrell Bank '13.
    • Yeah exactly, the shock moments, group layouts, etc all end up playing out differently once you get into the tournament. However you tweak it, you don't predict shocks.
