The only main stage set he should ever be allowed to play is Pyramid opener.

Anything else and he’s clogging up prime real estate.

pretty sure  hes done between acts dj on the pyramid at some point - i forget when.

So - Jungle are Saturday night headliners, seemingly.

Which leaves - whom?

Chaka Khan? Jessie Ware? LCD Soundsystem?

I could definitely see a trio of Jessie Ware, Jungle and LCD (in that order). Would be a decent balance with what's projected on the Pyramid. Maybe Chaka subbing one of those three?

If LCD are there I think it’s more likely to be the Friday given their Ireland date on the Wednesday before. Very much down for a LCD vs. Coldplay rematch.

Can’t see Jessie as a Holts headliner myself. Know she’s got the disco element, but think she’d top Woodsies if anywhere (although I’d much prefer a daytime slot from her so I can actually see her).

This would mean I get two nights at West Holts 😍

Not so different from Roisin Murphy really.

Hmm Roisin is more eccied in the club disco whereas Jessie is more your mums birthday party disco. Not saying it couldn’t happen because Holts has certainly moved away a bit from its old vibe in recent years, but it’s not where I’d put her.

But I do think LCD, Jungle, Jessie is far too white a top line for a stage that’s always championed black artists so something’s gotta give, and I think Chaka will be back after apparently being booked originally for 2020 now that she’s touring again. Her vs. Stevie obviously isn’t ideal given the crossover, but Stevie wasn’t the original plan so sh*t happens.

Now Tricky! There would be a booking! Would get my vote.

Not sure he gets that close to Bristol there used to be stories that he was run out of town.

And isn't welcome back .(no idea if they're true)

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
