Unearthing this chat now we have the news that she'll be at BST on the Friday and appears to be a near-lock in our estimations.

What do we reckon? A straight-up Guts show? Something a little different for 2025? Or a deviation from the script to try something different?

Loads of other festival shows so I reckon a new ish festival set with a few changes, and a guest for Glastonbury.

We're just watching the Netflix one now weirdly, and were saying

Vampire would be better later on!

Later would be better. It's like Muse opening a show with Neutron Star Collision

That would be unexpected tbf given I don't think they even played it 10 times.

Though it would be like seeing a show open with New Born, which I did see when they did Origin of Symmetry in full in 2011.

Watched the Guts Netflix gig last night and fully expected it to give me a bit more enthusiasm for her headliner set. It's done the opposite. I genuinely could take her or leave it now. Wasn't impressed at all and i do like several of her songs.

It was a great show live if that helps, but that is what it is.

Too rehearsed/theatrical for your taste?

Everyone is rehearsed to death. But that should never be a knock. I assume the middle section with the moon is the downer. But that has to be re done for a festival set anyway. We will know what that is in March anyway when she headlines the South American Lollas. Can easily throw in another cover or have a guest. If Chappel is before her that opens it up to some options. St Vincent, Alanis too.

Olivia is an actress so theatrics make sense. But some stuff that's rehearsed manages to come across as spontaneous or natural. Other things do not. I'll let the poster speak for themselves as to their reasoning. Guaranteed the Glasto set will feature a cover alongside some special guest.

Oh really? I enjoyed it, but then I did see her live this year (she was great BTW) which maybe helps.

Two things really. She had more filler than i thought she'd have (i did think her other stage performance lacked depth as well but for obvious reasons back then) and i thought the vibe massively fed off her hysterical fans which will be missing from the Pyramid stage. I wouldn't be disappointed if i ended up watching her but i'd be considering other options first.

I Did not see her last time - but all i remember from last time she played was that anyone who was there were talking about it as one of the best things they have ever seen.   I don't thin she needs to worry too much about not having her legions of fans there at all to be honest.

I would not stress too much if you don't like her - Glastonbury is never short of other options
