Hi everyone,

Really jealous reading about your early return times...

Our return coach to Brighton is at 11:30 AM on Monday, which makes it impossible for us to catch our return flight to Spain (departure from Gatwick at 5:25 PM).

Would there be any group of 6, also returning to Brighton but on an earlier coach, willing to swap return times with us??

We're having a bit of a nervous breakdown right now 😞 Any help/advice will be appreciated!!

you were moaning about a PM coach last year! 😄

I know just had my heart set on a 6am one . 🙂 sure it’ll be fine . Might mean a less stop start bus queue although I’ve no idea what a 10ish bus queue brings

Just go to the coach departure early doors. If there's a space they'll let you on usually.  Or get the shuttle bus to Castle Cary and get a train direct to London. No requirement to take that return coach.

Abandon your return coach.

Get a train instead, and change at Reading for Gatwick.

9.15 Taunton 😞 looks like a change of campsite 😞 our one by jp has shrunk and we’ve no advance party this time

What time do you think that would have you on site?

I'm happy (ticket dependent) to arrange something and put tents up on your behalf if I'm there.

Can you hear that?

That is the sound of you opening that first cider and not giving a fuck in 27 days.

Gate A bus queue is miles better than any other queue on site. You'll be fine. You might even still get your usual spot!

1hour travel I’d say tops … no idea on gate time at that point . 15 min walk once inside . Will just go with what we get . Thankyou appreciate the kind thoughts though 🙂 friends have said we will be fine … 🙂

this thread has whipped me into action booking the train back!

Does anyone know how much it is a free for all on Mon at castle cary, even if you've booked tix?

its a total free-for-all. even if you have booked tickets, its first come first served. recent experiences (leaving at 10am ish) are a 2 hour wait at the fest for an bus, then an hour or so at Castle Cary.

I arrived about 10am last year on coach, took about 45mins-1 hour to get through PGA.
