Psst...Just to be more obvious... this year's 'legend slot' will see a similar pattern to 2017 (Barry Gibb/Chic)... #Blondie into #CatStevens! #Glastonbury #Glastonbury2023 #Glasto

Hi @Crazyfool01, I believe I am the source you are sharing all this info from. Could you please stop posting my private tweets on a public forum? Thanks.

the account is locked .... I was tagged and looked at it .... its now locked and ive been told not to reveal source .... so I wont

Seems like an utterly bizarre string of events, not entirely sure why someone would be using hashtags with a locked account either.

If Glastonbury had ever considered a full blown comedy headliner atop one of the major stages, that Python reunion a decade or so ago would have been a serious contender. Universal silliness.

Now, get Bill Bailey atop the Park Stage.

Bill Bailey played the theatre field on a stage at the bottom of the hill one year. I'm convinced that it was the Sunday after the headliners had finished. Does anyone else remember? There must be someone with better recall than me. It was definitely pissing down. '07 or '11 I think. "Put the umbrellas down", was the chant of the evening as they wrecked the view of anyone behind them.

Really hoped they were going to continue with that idea.

(It would be a good spot for Jonathan Pie for instance. Astrolabe's way too small for him).

It’s all from the Discord, we’ve had this info (including the Sunday sub) and have been discussing it since before the weekend.

Go on, spill the beans. No need to name the source, we might as well all know, surely that's the point of this place

Be interesting to see if this other news you've heard but not mentioned yet @Crazyfool01tallies up with what we've known on the Discord for a while. Or if it's completely fresh info.

    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
    • for some reason last night watched series one of Prey on Netflix.   if Legends was written by Timmy Mallet (see above) then Prey seems to have been made by Mr Blobby.   why are all these British crime dramas so sh*t?
    • It'll be all over various Seatfillers based upon previous years at Sandringham
    • The Jayhawks 2026 UK Tour    Sept 15 – Brighton – Corn Exchange  Sept 16 – London – Electric Ballroom Sept 17 – Manchester – Academy 2 Sept 18 – Glasgow – The Garage    For you ‘americana’ lovers. They have a great song book.
    • Weezer just announced a new album & US tour so could add them to the headliner pool. Imagine they’ll do this or trees
