Eh?

Doesn't matter if he's headlining or not (2017 field day he was top billing), I won't be able to go due to Green Man commitments

He was the second stage headliner

I always saw the Barn as the main stage that year. But even if it wasn't, Aphex Twin was the main draw over Run the Jewels.

Here via scatteredscreens, thanks for the heads up, definitely going for Aphex. Don't even care who else is there but I'm sure it'll be cool looking at older posters, first time at Field Day. Stoked!

His sets are mad, you can watch them on YouTube. You're in for a treat. Hope he does a Manc show so I can see him.

Few people are saying this. Is there any solid proof yet?

Whats proof until an announcement 😂 Lots of good sources have said it who've been right in the past about lots of stuff.

Can see it happening with them playing that fest in Europe around APE time. They also only played Lytham last year? So probably thinking they want to pop over here for a gig.

Probably gonna be next week to line up with payday

Wireless next week

Parklife 31st Jan

Tramlines teasing their announcement (which usually means Y Not + Truck will soon follow)

Kendall Calling saying theirs is coming sooner than we expect too

So that said…. APE coming to makes complete sense

This in retrospect was one of the best London all-dayers I've ever been to. Would love to see Forest Swords, Death Grips, Jaar and King Gizzard all on this year's lineup.

Note for anyone skim-reading the page: this is an old lineup

the clashes at this were just brutal. utterly stacked

I just looked at the Clashfinder for the beans and I'd have been devastated. Death Grips and Moderat/Hopkins clash, Moodymann and Jaar clash, FlyLo and Gizz clash and if you saw either you'd probably have a shite time getting into Aphex - and you'd miss RTJ to boot. Savage.

Yep! You've just wholly described my situation in 2017!

hmmmm.... compared to Chemical brothers last year?

Hed be second stage headliner like Kraftwerk were IMO

Seems like quite a different situation where Chems were after every other artist on the bill with nobody against them, you could do both
