Sam Fender & Little Simz? 😕

I lost the hype for Sam Fender and I already saw Little Simz this year, she's amazing but I won't be in the front row waiting

Edit: I forgot that others who canceled this year: Giant Rooks, Alison Wonderland, Lauren Sanderson, Cate Le Bon, Viagra Boys, Yves Tumor, Jade Bird

Sorry, I went straight to the ones I liked and was hoping to see 🥲

Yung Lean too if I remember correctly

Blur is a one off gig. 😉

Its being billed as a UK exclusive, if it was a complete one-off it would surely be billed as worldwide exclusive, which seems unlikely for a reunion show

Agreed, all of that rehearsing etc for one date sounds like a lot of work for 90 minutes of fun.

With the announcement around the corner, let's play a game.

Name 10 artists that will be included in the first announcement. The one who gets the most correct guesses is the winner

: Billie  Eilish, The Chemical Brothers, Editors, Yung Lean, Viagra boys, Flume, Glass animals, Wet leg, Burna Boy, Amelie Lens

Idk how relevant this might be but Bilbao BBK Live Festival in Spain (06.-08.07.) just released this wave of bands. Maybe some artists would be possible? Arctic Monkeys are out of the question of course.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
