Concerts for Carers as well

2 ticket sites < most ticket sites.

anyway, how come the Carers website has so many great shows compared to BLC / TFG etc? Wolf Alice, Haim, Cat Burns, MBV, Alex G ..is it because it's 'ballot' rather than discounted tickets?

CfC offers ballots for virtually everything for some venues. I they they must partner with them. e.g. Hydro/SEC/Wolverhampton/Notts Arena and many shows for some London venues.

They don't reveal how many are available per show, so this could be highly variable. I haven't entered any ballots yet, as never anything in my area (Yorkshire)

TfG clearly also work closely with some venues/organisers, e.g. Earth Hackney, Sheffield Uni, Music in the round, women's football and regularly get surplus for some of the day festivals / outdoor gigs, but the amount of time they are available varies enormously dependent on how well they are selling. For some you have to be really quick once they are listed, and they can be very last minute 1-2 days before.

BLC seems to get batches for some tours, e.g. recently they had virtually every date for one or two arena tours.

All of them also get a lot of dross!

Tom odell on TFG now as well

I saw this yesterday, had they not have been upper tier tickets I have been pissed but they were so I'd have avoided them anyway.

Finally took mum to see him at the 02 last night grabbing really good seats off of twickets late on. £27 off of FV. I now after doing similar for Disturbed as well won't stand at a gig again, seating is just better now. Turn up when you want without worrying about a good view.

Looks like you had a great view. I took the Blue Lights option and was about as far away from the stage as was possable but still enjoyed the show.

Yeah. The only downside I'd say was I wasn't facing him on the piano side but on the other take you also get the view of the piano hand work. That's block 112 row F. The other option that would have been a fair bit higher was 101/102 X but you've got to take F. Sound wise it was ace i thought.

Really, AO over Coop? Purely a location thing? Cos I reckon Coop kicks the sh*t out of the AO in every other respect.

Yeah location and the fact there's nothing around it. I live on the met line to both arenas. Getting back is easy from the AO and a ballache from the Coop. Sound is better at the Coop but getting into the place was also a hassle compared to the AO. I have only been to the Coop once for Macca, so things hopefully have improved since then

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
