Think it's his first performance since Taylor died, Paul actually replaced Taylor on a song for Concrete and Gold and they've long been close friends so I think this is much more about a friend helping a friend in a time of need to rebuild confidence than anything else. He's probably not high but absolutely overwhelmed

Yeah, just finished reading Dave’s book and he’s clearly good friends with Macca, not just ‘stage’ friends

It's not like the Foos covered themselevs in glory in 2017. Lots of bullshit breaks, overly eulogising to the crowd for hours, no flow to the set.

Can't disagree more. The crowd loved every minute of their 2017 set
