The closer we get the more unsettled it’s looking

It's OK, it's SCIENTIFIC that whatever the weather is saying around now...it will be the opposite when it comes to it. So if rain is predicted at all anywhere, means its going to be sunny 👍🏼

It's a quickfire double as the 06Z rolls into town. What will it have in store for us?

THROUGH TO GATES OPEN

Rain from around 3pm to 6pm tomorrow, but again not the nasty stuff we'd seen in earlier runs.

There is sign of heavy rain in the area on Tuesday morning, with showers in the afternoon. But it's not looking like too much and the Monday-Tuesday temperatures of 22 and 19 allow for good drying.

When the gates open at 9am on Wednesday it's dry with temps of 18.

Wednesday itself is has some very light showers you'd barely even notice. Highs of 21.

THURSDAY

Completely dry, highs of 22.

FRIDAY

Dry during the day with highs of 22.

But this run has some rain hitting the site just in time for Arctic Monkeys hitting the Pyramid, with showers continuing overnight.

SATURDAY

Light rain around during the day, highs of 20.

The high is again failing to build in.

SUNDAY

Essentially dry, highs of 19.

SUMMARY

Definitely a downgrade on the previous run, with a few more showers and the presence of rain for Friday's headliners and overnight.

As we can see from this chart (latest on the right), the low makes more of an inroad than in the previous run (left).

We remain on a huge KNIFE EDGE over the battle between the high and the low from Friday onwards. And it doesn't seem like we are close to a firm answer yet!

The term ‘pound shop Nal’ is confusing because what The Nal does is hardly high brow stuff is it.

He's still making a satirical point about the uselessness of forecasts and being happy / sad about what they're showing. But I'm not sure why anyone else is bothering.

i'd take a hot and dry glastonbury with a stormy sunday over one with continual showers and mud!

There won't be mud with showers.

And continual showers would just be rain. Showers are exactly what they are - intermittent.

Thunderstorms are short and well spread out across the country. There’s a fair chance many areas including the farm will miss them. We were meant to get heavy rain and thunder yesterday. Instead it was hazy sunshine and I heard a faint distant rumble that could have been a butterfly farting.
