Ticket Competition

Howdy,

I seem to remember before the eternal apocalypse kicked off that there was some sort of general ticket comp thread for those like myself with no resale ticket / no discernible chance in hell of obtaining one for the most anticipated Glasto ever.

Couldn’t find it on the search function anywhere. Can anybody help a brother out or is it potentially Twix time next (fingers crossed) year? Cheers.

There is also a competitions thread that will get bumped nearer the time … we had mallets cider and now worthy cheddar I think is the only current one … feel free to join in with the roller coaster that will be the resale team .. and get yourself on the spreadsheet .. and in the meantime recruit as many helpers as possible ready for March resale …

Thanks guys … lots of people without tickets … without hats and ta postcodes … probably just as dissapointed but not quite as vocal as me … that’s why those resale pyramids are going to come into play in March … between us I’m sure we can turn that spreadsheet green for lots on here

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
