Tame Impala and Ofenbach, I’m quite happy 🙂 !
But same as everyone, a lot of names I’ve never heard of before … + I was really expecting Maneskin 😥

Anyway, the line up seems pretty good Considering the 2 years Off 🙂 Except Bieber, I think I’m gonna see every  headliner , which is f..ing rare !

Saw somewhere that Stromae is performing on August 12. Bieber last date is on Aug 9 so i feel he could be on that date. Nice combo.

Yep. On 12th Stromae-Bieber

Dua is on 10th. KOL 11th. I will buy for 3 days.

Little bit disappointed in terms of middle names when comparing to 2020 edition.

Miles Kane, Glass Animals, Monsters and Men, Keane, Daughter,Foster the People , FKA, Foals, Stormzy

I mean where are they? These are good names 🙂

I’m still hoping to see Glass Animals in the next announcement

Exactly my thoughts?!

And i can only do days 1-3 or 2-4 so missing out on Tame Impala and AM while i get Bieber is very dissatisfied:/

Agree completely. The lower down the list you go I seem to know nobody and when I check them out they are almost all dance acts. I'm hoping we are due another decent announcement which will fill the middle ground with a few guitars rather than decks.

Are they touring?

Stormzy no summer dates.

Daughter no

Monsters of men no

But they seem to have been 'replaced' by acts who don't compare - either in stature or genre of music.

Ticket sales on that genre maybe? Miles kane and keane are pretty dated. Going for something a bit more up to date with the subs.

Realistically, how many "strong" names are we missing ? So sub headliners, A38 names .. ?

I dont think we are missing many main stage names. Sziget only has 4 on the main stage each day.

Will be interesting who is playing a38 whilst main stage headliners are on. Any clues?

Keane and Foals really are a big miss to me too 😞 + Maneskin not being here.. u right, there's a little "incomplete" feeling about this line up

It appears, judging by the colour coding being used, that the light blue shade is subs and we are only missing one from that list.

The purple names are a real mix - Alan Walker, Jungle, Caribou and.....Nina Kraviz? She just doesn't sit there imho. So difficult to judge.

In the green list, I'm hoping a lot of these will be in the coliseum or the rumoured urban stage.

    • Best of all is to get the tram, then call a taxi for very short not-rip-off ride once in the centre.
    • Would you decide to go once more I recommend to queu up at the ‘official’ freenow taxi line ( 5 min walk from the main gate). It might take 15 min or so but they are not ripping you off. Even at 3 or 4 in the night it costed us about 25eur to the city center.
    • How do you mean? Better as a hotel/ festival combo?   I've done rock am ring at both sites.....unpopular opinion I much preferred the mending site and really didn't like the long and narrow main stage at RaR.
    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
