Yeah exactly ! For as long as I follow festivals and their announcements they mostly only use songs of artists which will be performing there.

good news is, they haven't use a Justin Bieber song so far.... 😏

Great find.

Btw, How sure are we about Dua Lipa on first day, KOL on second and AM closing main stage ?

Is actual Clashfinder legit right now?(https://clashfinder.com/s/sziget2022/)

this is on the sziget official website so... 100% ^^

And the other names are also right, since Stromae performs the 12th and Bastille the 11th.. so far so good !

Dont want to rush things but I feel that this second wave of names is going to be better for me (personally). But let’s wait and see! Excited!

I have to admit that I am a bit concerned about the events which are happening today in Ukraine things really seem to escalate there. I hope after COVID this isn’t going to effect big events especially in Eastern Europe.

OMG! Macklemore's around - how did nobody spot that? He's like Sziget's "artist in residence" isn't he? Lol

as always, tons of amazing posters and then in the middle - frequency line up, always the worst pile of shit of the summer.

Was there in 2019 and kinda like it. Looking at 2020-2022 lineups and how they are selling makes me think they just found cheap and easy way to fulfill local youth's needs.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing him again at Sziget, I had a best time at his concert and I really enjoyed every part of it đŸ„°

If you see him live for the first time it's a really fun show and great party, for the second time it's ok, for the third time you realise that he uses same old tricks, patterns and even lines when he speaks to audience every time and every year.

Looking at those I can't see any artist that has grown in popularity in the last two years - a hint we got previously! No clue who that could beÂ đŸ€·â€â™€ïž

Wow, that was a hint we got quite a while ago. I'd completely forgotten about it tbh.

Think Maneskin was suggested as an option, along with Olivia Rodrigo - but she doesn't appear to be doing festivals this year.

Certainly, none of KOL, AM, Dua Lipa, Calvin, Bieber and Impala could be classed like that.

Did Sziget drop Little Simz from the lineup? I can't find her at their website but on her website says that she will be at Sziget on August 10th 🙃

You're right, well spotted. She's no longer on the line-up page. I will be absolutely gutted if she's gone for any reason.

I assume @Sziget2022_Leaks is associated wit the festival, maybe he can help?

Someone on Instagram has said that Kanye is due to drop tour dates on Tuesday.

I can't find confirmation of this anywhere, but it definitely sounds like he's preparing to tour.

On his 2016 album 'The Life of Pablo' he recorded a song called 'Waves'.

Have we been barking up the wrong tree?

    • Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable.   It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings.   Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime đŸ€ž
    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However
the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend
English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
