70 just seems so young and dying from sepsis so preventable in the vast majority of cases. I'm "lucky" (and I use that for lack of a better word). Sepsis was recognised really quickly, treatment started swiftly and she had amazing care for the 8 days that she put up the fight of her life on ICU. Some battles just cant be won though. I don't have the overwhelming anger so many families in our situation have because it was recognised too late and for that I'm thankful 

Sorry - this is completely off topic. It's World Sepsis Day today though. My mum was one of 11 million annual global deaths. Please all ask 'Could this be sepsis?' if you or a loved becomes unwell. In health care we miss it too often or we diagnose it too late. I wouldn't wish this on anyone

It has but there’s still been a National incident and the cost of living package along with a new PM you’d expect to see a bounce.

No I'm not happy with the Tories at all, but am also not happy with the way Labour are heading.

My totally unrealistic dream is to see the Green Party in power.

People seem to be taking advantage of the extra bank holiday, that's for sure. 

Sunday night we've gone from not quite half full, to just a couple of rooms shy of completely full. And we'll sell them before Sunday.

I'm kind of against this bank holiday at short notice, for a lot of people it's a pain in the bum. I am going to do some work out of protest.

Oh yeah I get that but it’s still been in the news and as of yet there isn’t a massive bounce back to the Tories. That’s not to say it won’t happen but at the moment it’s encouraging.

The problem is when is the timing right ? It’s about achieving publicity for a cause and actually the very best time to protest could be considered to be when the whole world are watching ?!

Starmer says - ‘Obviously we have to respect the fact that some people disagree. One of the great British traditions is the ability to protest and to disagree, but I think if it can be done in the spirit of respect.’

Seems like he thinks it’s fair for people to protest.
