Was going to say take them to a food bank, but they don't normally want refrigerated stuff do they? For obvious reasons!

Gutted no-one here won. Will try to get some more for the next one. Mid-month draw again I assume?

On the plus side I reckon a lot of people will forget and lose interest after the first month...

Still, have already got an entry in for this month. Hey, @crazyfool1 can you tweet them to ask who the email will come from? As in, what would show up as the sender in your inbox/junk?

cant you just go through the last 5 days junk ? im pretty sure it would be obvious in the first line of text ..... those viagra ones its probably not the winning email ....

It's not there - don't get me wrong! Just curious, as I had lots of junk that was non-specifically labelled "you're a winner" and I found myself checking it, even though I was 99.9% certain it wasn't from Wyke Farms / Worthy Cheddar / Co-op.

the draw is by a 3rd party so its unlikely the people I tweeted would know the exact content of that email

If you were working for the company that administrates the draw, how tempted would you be to fudge it and give yourself a ticket somehow...? Worth the risk of the sack?

I’m guessing five people who work for that company thought the very same thing which is why we’ve not heard anything about the winners on socials 😂

I know - but would you do it with a fake name or something? Maybe use your middle name on your Glastonbury registration so you can still show ID and get in but not alert your employer? "oh look - someone with the same surname as me won..."

At least it isn’t ITV running the competition. There have a track record of scamming competitions

The competition winner is a friend... and it's up to the friend who they name as a guest...

All about the conspiracy today 🤣

The reply I got from the Co-op promotions guy on Twitter this afternoon is sobering.  Too many people have let a taste for Cheddar get out of hand.  One minute you're in control of a few ounces a week, next thing you know you're selling your furniture to fund a risky unpasteurised artisan kilo a week habit.  Stay safe guys.

OK, next draw date 14th of April, just trying to remain positive and off out to buy a few packs of Worthy Cheese sandwiches 😎

I’ve emailed asking for a list of the winners ... it’s a bit dissapointing that nothing is to be found on socials 😞

Yeah it's surprising, although as it's no one here I'm not too bothered about who actually won it! Would just be nice to know it happened I guess.

Managed to get one of the sandwiches yesterday, first time I'd seen it in my local Co-op. Think it was already discussed, but slightly disappointed they went for grated cheese rather than sliced cheese. But as  grated cheese sandwiches go it was pretty good.

I prefer grated tbh.....I put it down to grated having larger surface area and therefore stronger taste.  Needs to still be a little loose though, I can't bear it when it's had some pressure during packing and solidifies into lumps.

Am I overthinking cheese sandwiches?
