6) This headcase

That's a crazy hat @Crazyfool01

It's all going on there, isn't it.

Love the rockets, man!

Alex from Taunton

Alex from Taunton spent the past five years - FIVE YEARS - perfecting his headgear for Elton's performance. It's a replica of the Pyramid Stage, with 3D-printed rockets and a ruby piano as a special Glastonbury tribute to his musical hero (represented here in Lego form).

He was one of the diehard fans who got up at 04:00 to reserve their space at the front of the crowd, and predicted "absolute fun and bedlam in the pit".

Let's hope the hat survived.

Oh I missed it! I had a little check yesterday as well to see if there was one as I was free but that must have been just before the post! 🙈

When does the frequency ramp up?

We have a minor issue that the zoom subscription expires soon , apologies I’ve been slack in attending the last several as I’ve been hibernating slightly … need to figure out where we go with them and not post the link last min . They should be every 2 weeks

For anyone considering joining an eFests virtual meet just do it!

It may seem a little daunting if it's your first time but it's an incredibly friendly and welcoming bunch. Obviously the topics of conversation are mainly Glastonbury related....although other completely random stuff can pop up. It's always interesting, informative and entertaining. The attendees are a mix of ticket holders, workers, volunteers etc which often results in info and insights which will not necessarily be available anywhere else.

It is not, erm, unknown for participants to treat it like an alternative to an evening at the pub with a bunch of friends old and new which has been know to extend to messy lockins😄

I'm not ashamed to admit that when I finally plucked up enough courage to join my first VM I did it in disguise and all I said throughout was the occasional `caw caw`.

    • It can take around 30-45 mins to walk from the arena back to the transport hub with the crowds, depending on density. Allow even longer in poor conditions. I don't think you'd need to leave Linkin Park early though, you have at least an hour and 20 minutes to walk to transportation. I certainly wouldn't leave early in your shoes, knowing I can just walk to the airport if needs be (2 mile walk and another 30 - 45 min walk depending on your walking speed and conditions.) Maybe just don't linger too long for the toilet / food after Linkin Park have finished.  It will definitely make sense and all just fall into place on the night, don't worry too much and have a great time. The very worst that can happen is a little extra walking to the Airport Skylink bus stop, as those Skylink busses are 100% 24 hour. 🙂  GFS, ICON and ECMWF are ALL in agreement on the latest runs.... After a mildly moist Weds and Thurs, high Pressure building from Friday... Lets just hope they continue to agree... ☀️☀️☀️
