Can’t seem blossoms headlining, they’re taking quite low slots at other festivals

Truck is only 20k, they could definitely do it and fit the festival well

ah right okay, thought it was superstruct as a whole, we could see catfish on this lineup then?

Not sure. Live Nation and SJM may have signed them up for events as that's what they have been announced for so far and that's possibly left Superstruct events without them. Generally it's a freelance booker for the likes of Trunk, Tramlines, Kendal, Victorious and Y Not (even though now not part of the same group).

I’d put a bet on either Wolf Alice, Foals, Royal Blood turning up as one of the headliners.

two headliners from the last one? are you daft?

edit* sorry one of them. Still cant see foals or wolf alice. Royal blood yes for sure.

Other festivals like R&L have repeated headliners from 2019, so wouldn’t rule out 1 repeating especially as wolf Alice have a new album coming out

Reading have 6 headliners though so its harder not to repeat a headliner and for Truck theres plenty more potential headliner combinations. I can’t see it myself

6 headliners is a bit of a stretch but great marketing from FR/LN. They have some headline sized acts (by large festival standards) with some fillers that headline smaller events and are generally further down the line ups at larger events. Catfish were headlining the likes of Tramlines and QotSA have played R&L under headliners so many times as well as Other Stage at Glasto. There is a big pool of British acts they could of booked without repeats, it could be considered lazying bookings or just playing it safe.

Superstruct much like Global and Count Of Ten before them will just recycle headliners and big acts for a few years across 4/5 events. An event is unlikely to get the same combination but it may get a festivals dirty left-overs 😀

nor can i. big fests like R&L have lots more options on other stages if people want to do that. Repeat headline bookings at smaller fests rarely / never happen. i cant think of a 10k or smaller fest ever booking the same headliner twice.

With London grammar just being announced for all points east does that make them more of less likely to play?

Can't see them at Truck really?

    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • Knocked Loose have been announced for Wacken, that's them at Bloodstock as well   I think they'd headline over Malev
    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
    • There is also a solid argument from Seventeen already that not enough people actually care if they book them also.
