FloorFiller
Maybe I've missed this posted before, but does anybody have the famous megalist saved/archived? With less than two weeks to go my pile has been steadily increasing but I've not been nearly as prepared as in the past and feel like I'm missing a hell of a lot of stuff so need to make a few more trips in to town to get it boxed off. Any other essential packing tips or tricks welcome (although the Glasto Hacks thread has largely got that covered).

sime
This year, bagwise, I am only taking what fits into my big camping rucksack. And even then I don't plan to completely fill it. Usually I also take a shoulder bag and a carry bag with extra bits and bobs. But not this time: 1 jumper 1 hoody 5 tee shirts 3 collared shirts Daily pants and socks 1 extra pair of trousers Wash cloth with environmental soap, toothpaste/brush Towel Some fruit, nuts and Pringles 8 cans of Heineken And that's it for me. Obviously, being on my own and meeting friends there makes my life that bit easier. Less is more. Less stress, more easy traveling.

Sara_out_west
A collective amended list every few years would serve as a pretty cool record of social history! I.e wonder when Wet Wipes started as a ‘essential bit of festival kit’ and when they’ll drop off the list!

My tent and sleeping bag do not get packed inside my ruck sack I take 5 t shirts because each one gets a bit whiffy after a full day/nights wear. I like to put on a fresh t-shirt every day. And 3 collared shirts for a bit of variety. None of these take up any room or add much weight at all really. I wear my wellies on the journey. So actually I need to put some converse on my list too

Pinhead
Kind of wondered that as well recently about pen knives. Security at Boomtown the other year asked if I had any knives and I didn't mention the penknife but wondered whether they would confiscate it if I had.
