Spindles
As someone who was 18 in 1989 and from the angle of the shot, asleep somewhere behind her, I can honestly say she looks like about half the girls I knew back then. Just so you know, 1989 was the best summer this country ever had and this generation had best pull it's finger out of it's ass and get to work on the 3rd summer of love, thank you very much. Well overdue.

Well overdue. I'm right behind you on this proposal Spindles, but only on the proviso that dad dancing is considered 'in' within this new zeitgeist. The first up. At Glastonbury Festival I am up and raring when others are staggering to bed. I saw this figure in the distance. When near, she just stopped. I raised my camera, she smiled, and carried on past me. Never to be seen by me again. And it doesn't matter. It really doesn't."

And Yet, "The picture is to be the basis of an entire programme - which grows a family tree, an entire nation, from this one pic. " The person pictured probably never wanted to be photographed and almost certainly wouldn't want to have her life dissected based on what kind of person she was envisioned to be by the photographer. If I knew who she was I'd keep quiet.

Love how he reiterates it doesn't matter who she is, and now is determined to track her down anyway. I noticed on his site that each print sold causes the next print to increase by a grand. As evidenced by the current pricing, he has to date sold 0 prints.
Simpo
I do like his photos though. It used to be lots of Glastonbury ones were viewable on the same site as his football ones, but must have recently separated them onto different websites, and only made some available to look at at a time. Shame. Edit: In fact I downloaded some to put in my little collection of Glastonbury photos. You should be able to view them even with no facebook account, but I'm not sure. The little clutch of them with "www.homesoffootball.co.uk" in the corner starting here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10158459761505084&set=a.10156129529765084&type=3&theater Edited April 23, 2019 by Simpo

He doesn't seem to have sold any of his other prints either. I wish Russy was here to let loose some creative swearing regarding the commercials.
