I'm sending all my "The War on Drugs - Pyramid sub 2019" t-shirts to the skips anyway. If they're touring in summer, they're surely gonna be supporting Neil Young or Bob Dylan at British Zimmer Time.

serves em right for being a boring dad rock band imo

Yet you call Real Estate a great band for essentially doing the same thing but not as well.

real estate are the kind of band that I would call 'very nice' rather than 'great'. they also sound nothing like the war on drugs so this is just a very puzzling comment really.

I'm being deliberately over-savage, anyway. twod are okay. I'd wander along to see them if I was in the vicinity. just never found them especially compelling.

They blend americana with indie rock in a similar fashion to Warren Drugs, but they don't do it as well like I said. And you literally did call them great at the same time as you called Sundara Karma great. Then when I challenged you about hating on Sundara Karma, you said the other bands. Was it just KGATLW that were great after all this? Jabroni.

But yeah, I was just kidding around. You don't have to explain yrself. I am not particularly offended by anyone calling them 'boring dad rock' because I get why people call them that but also love the stuff that people generally label as such.

    • 1 - Mock Media - Rat Bastard 2 - Maquina - Body Transmission 3 - Mary in the Junkyard - Role Model Hermit   Honourable mentions to The Hu - Hun, Madonna - Confessions II, and Swapmeet - Mount Zero for also being solid.   Sadly, really didn't connect with the new Yard Act, a real shame as loved their last two albums and thought this one would be a shoe-in for AOTM, but felt it was a bit too generic..
