42hamlet
Got in from bath and west in about 30 mins, bag searches were a cursory pat down, nothing to be worried about
Tranquility of Solitude
I wasn't searched at all. Just walked past. Pretty random and nothing that looked too intrusive. In fact this is the quickest I've ever got in. A lot of fuss over nothing is my impression but understand others may not be as fortunate so hang in there and it's sunny!!! stardustjunkie
There's quite a queue at gate A, but traffic getting in was fine. I'm now stuck in a huge queue for the disabled badges. Last year there were about 2 people in the queue.. this year there's about 50!
JoBalls
The queue is big but it's moving. Asked a steward and they said they reckon it's an hour queue here and 3 hours at PGD

Tent now pitched and first beer open. Sun is shining. Can't express this contentment... and it will be yours soon. All worthwhile. Yeah it actually moved really quickly! Unfortunately the rest of my group are at gate d which seems to be really slow...I'm sitting alone surrounded by my stuff and hoping I can save the space, they think they'll be another 1-2 hours
LynseyDiva
Just in! 45 minutes from coach to campsite in the Darble! Quick pat down by the security chap, queue moving well!
Danny_H22
Left Plymouth at 6.10 and was in the festival site at 9.45. Little bit of traffic coming into Glastonbury village but not terrible. Was in the ticket queue for all of 25 minutes. My bag was patted down and that's it. And I had a 120l army bag Edited June 21, 2017 by Danny_H22
2brains
Parked car at about 825 am, still not on site, took an hour to get to the road crossing from pink car park, currently on final zig zag row before gate, the end is in sight! cheesey_toastie
Our coach left Manchester 45 mins late but the driver is making amends with a music quiz and comedy set in the pa. Correct answers win a bottle of water and he's promised to under cut Costa at the services and make a coffee for 80p. Thanks for the gate updates, all adding to the excitement and I've got a bar bought beer on the sweepstake for being on-site by 1730hrs! JoBalls
I've seen three people pass out so far... my friend just got in PGA and it took three and a half hours.
TheNewUnion
Arrived from Bath and West Show ground, on the shuttle bus at 11:05am, had my wristband at 11:25am. Wasn't searched but ticket thoroughly inspected and was asked to confirm my postcode. Not found a bar open yet, so alternating warm cans and water. Place looks empty at the moment. neil_d
Got the 11am shuttle out of G town, got my wristband on by 11:53am.
broken monkey
Pretty big zigzag queue for gate A from car parks despite being told by stewards there weren't any. Moving fairly quick though so hopefully no longer than an hour wait.

How does this work with reports of an hour before? Are there two queues to A?

I guess they try to prioritise the coaches to promote the greener option. You definitely lose of the ale carrying abilities though
JoBalls
Just got in. It took us 2 hours.
broken monkey
Nearly in now - 1.5 hours but queue behind is significantly shorter now. 45mins top I'd say.
Mattty
The car park queue must be taking ages, been waiting a long time for my mate to get in
Dave_c
The queue is vastly smaller on the webcam at PGA than it was earlier. I'll be there for about 8pm so should be a breeze by then.
Petaldaze
10 mins from coach to wristband. Cursory bag pat down. Lovely cheery staff! Happy days. Just 'refreshing' before yomp across site!
Lucy92
Any update? Got some friends getting there soon. Their coach was so delayed at London!

Just come out to do 2nd run. zero queue at gate a, well apart from stopping you at the top. Lucky to be there more than 10 minutes. Coach should be fine
