Yeah as black hole says usually some decent live bands with a bit of an international funky flavour. Remember seeing selah sue in there a couple of years back who is big in Belgium apparently and also some crazy Korean k pop band the other year . One of those places where you have never heard of anyone on the line up but can be a really good vibe.

Is the PP the wooden carousel place? Or is that still even on site - never thought of going there at night

Used to be a wooden carousel but now moved to the opposite of where it was and turned into a tent.

Usually has live bands from across the globe playing in there till quite late.

Had a great time in there on the Saturday night of 2013 watching The Bombay Royale from Australia. Usually not too busy as well.

Cheers, fellas. I'll give it a go.

Is the Wine Bar still packing them in?

Silent disco.

Ahh, the good old days of the Wine Bar....alas the noise abatement restrictions killed off those cheesy 80's requests played at high volume.  There would still be a decent crowd at 6am as the sun came up and we played "The Last Post"

Where is fluffy rock exactly? Is it on the oth from green fields/craft fields heading towards theatre and circus/west holts direction?

Do you know where manic organic is? It's to the right of that at the corner if going towards west holts

yeah if you go over the railway line from green fields towards west holts in on the corner it's actually quite good. We were watching some guy do ditties about telly tubbies one year and saw Mik artisik another

Fluffy Rock is great. They do superb cocktails in there as well at a quite reasonable price.

Is it the place on the corner with the clothing market stalls going off in one direction and the fried eggs on barm stall right next door?  If so then yeah it's cool with really good live music day & night

+1 for Wheel of Four Tunes.

Was in the kasbah on the Thursday last year after the glade and the security there were throwing people out for having their own drink which I'd never seen before.

That's really interesting because in my first year (2010) I had no idea you could drink your own drink INSIDE a bar and the Kasbah was the first place that I realised you could take your drink wherever the hell you liked, they were like 'you know you can bring that in, right?'

I would agree with the William's Green shout, Club de Fromage, Guilty Pleasures etc is always good fun. Also Glasto Latino was a lot of fun. There's definitely stuff to do if you don't want dance/house

I love the Kasbah but the security last year were awful forcefully throwing people out for drinking there own drinks when a polite word in anyone's ear would of been enough, they just seemed really pissed off at having to be and work at the festival

    • Used had one of the biggest crowds in the Wave last year. Not really my thing but enjoyed it and the crowd were bang up for it. Might be too much of a step up on the Main though.
    • Thing is it depends on what the issues are - building a bigger stage would likely bring the Pyramid up to the relatively standard 20x20 space for "on stage" production which does make it easier for touring setups. But if for example she wants big / complex extensions going out in the field (such as she had in Rio) that would remain just as awkward to achieve without massively disrupting the rest of the day or potentially even weekend.
    • A month or so before any ballot a group of up to six is registered and a lead booker named.  That gives see tickets time to check if any individual’s registration, post code  and details appears more than once on different groups and removed then on ticket allocation day tickets the groups are just randomly balloted.  It’s felt like a ballot in the last few years, just sitting staring at the dreaded two lines, glancing nervously at the clock as time passes. Maybe the f5 refresh gave you the sense that you were actually doing something 😊
    • or can we just have Metallica back please 😄
    • Feel Stevie Wonder should be in the conversation as a random Michael Eavis headliner ala Neil Young last year.... If we did get a M.E pick for one of the headliner slots, who else would be in the mix do we think? Cher? Rolling Stones? Nicks/Fleetwood?
