    Mad Cool 2018

My flight is due in at 8pm on the 10th and the tickets for David Byrne state 10pm. Seriously considering giving it a go! If anyone has details on stage times/curfew from the previous years festival it may aid my decision

I hear you man. insane line-up. I was going to book regardless based on the initial announcement but Tame Impala and Alice in Chains added made sure of it!

    Clash regrets...I've got a few

They've just announced a few shows in December. Definitely worth seeing them live. I'd never heard of them until Dot to Dot festival where I saw the synth player from the Moonlandingz walk into a gig and thought it must be interesting at least. Turned out to be Confidence Man and it was insane. Saw them tear up the Crows Nest a few weeks after!

    LCD Soundsystem....

Haha, wish I hadn't seen this! Heading to tonight's gig. Last night looked something special. Can't wait!

    West Holts 2019

This would be a treat! Other suggestions: Alison Moyet could do a good job on WH. Regret not missing the start of Foo's for her now. Might be too soon for Songhoy Blues again (were ace on the Park), Amadou et Mariam could provide a good alternative!

    Arcade Fire

That was something special. Great atmosphere and they were on fine form, Regine and Will especially! Signs of Life is an absolute banger

    Radiohead Headlining 2017

As I live a mile from the stadium I decided to go down and soak up the atmosphere outside. Ended up getting extremely cheap tickets from a tout outside and saw the last half in all it's glory. Due to the setlist it was hard not to compare with Glasto. Sound was nowhere near as good but at least I was able to see the band (and Thom grooving to Lotus Flower). compared to the view between the sound stages at the Pyramid. Still had a great time and The Bends was a treat

I hope that guy who had the Play The Fucking Bends flag was here. Wow!

I unfortunately didn't make it out early enough so started with Whitney on the other. Will keep tabs on them, would love to catch one of their own shows.

    Clash regrets...I've got a few

Future Islands - Regret nothing as I don't think i've ever been as happy but by all accounts the xx and Anderson Paak seem to have both been great. Katy Perry - I was always heading towards Liam but last minute decided to stay for the show. It was a spectacle, better than I thought but Liam would have been enjoyable with mates

    Your Glastonbury Song 2017

I also need 3. Thundercat - them changes, had high hopes. Cried as it was so good. Foo Fighters - Skin and Bones. Never played the first 3 times I saw them and they drop it in the final third of Glasto. <3 Jain - Makeba. Had the entire room bouncing and was stuck in my head all of Sunday night. Good going for a song I had only listened to once before.

    What made you smile ?

There were to many moments to mention. But when the sun poked through over on West Holts during Thundercat's Tron Song Suite II right after the lyric "Sitting in the Sun" I felt pure elation.

    Should Flags be Banned?

No. Would never find anyone and some of them are genuinely hilarious.
