I have special place of hatred for "One More Time" by Daft Punk too. I am a big fan of their early stuff too.

Cher - Believe, I wouldnt put that in any "worst list".

Banger maybe over stretching it.

One Week is just incredibly annoying.

I seriously detest 1 more time though. The vocal rips through me and makes me shudder, in a way that very few vocals do. Urrghh

Any answer to that question that isn't Nickleback's Rock Star is just wrong.

I think I'll struggle to have more disdain for anything than We Found Love. That song embodies all the worst qualities of modern pop music.

Heh.

The video to Africa is just plain WRONG.

And the lyrics are bizarre.

The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless, longing for some solitary company

Solitary company????????

As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti

Kilimanjaro rises like a much smaller mountain?????????

Edit - also didn't one of the band die in a freak gardening accident?

I quite like that

Agreed

Which one? Two princes or Jimmy olsen's blues?

Two princes was good at the time. The rest of the album a disappointment. Just two princes done not quite as well.

Just looked it up: Pocket full of Kryptonite.

Utter gash.

The Feeling - fill my world. Just pish.

The Killers - Mr Brightside. Annoying and everywhere.

Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. How Did I forget that? I detest that. Like a poor mans coldplay. Truely appalling.

The fray - How to Save a life. Horrible.

There's a special place in hell reserved for any dJ (most in shit nightclubs) that plays i will survive and it's raining men straight after each other.

It makes me irrationally angry. It's like they went to some seminar that explained it was impossible to play one without seguing into the other.

And there's always Come On Eileen that people try and fail to sing along to...and one bloke who knows all the words to Summertime by Will Smith and has to 'rap' loudly to it. And usually some drunken fingering going on in a corner but in plain view, oblivious to everyone.

The latter happened during Sigur Ros in the JPT.

Whereabouts did you spy this?

Are you having a moment of clarity? ;-)

We were to the left of Jonsi as you looked at him / the stage, 2/3 of the way back. And it was happening RIGHT in front of us until Mrs Woffy dealt with the situation.

No one has mentioned dancing in the moonlight by toploader. That song needs wiping from history. I hate that song with a passion, especially the organ solo in the middle. It's on the radio all the time,Achilles heel wasn't a bad song but you never hear it.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
