CaledonianGonzo
As Ian Manchester of The Roses famously said: "It's not where you're from (Manchester), it's where you're at (also Manchester)"

CaledonianGonzo
Mala has been to Peru to conjure up a sort of Andean Dubstep hyrbid. I dunno if it's quite as successful as Mala in Cuba, but it's early days for me with this.

CaledonianGonzo
Big Bill W has been retired for, like, 30 years. I think we probably need to assume that he's not going to be staging a comeback any time soon.

CaledonianGonzo
I went to see Mahavishnu John Mclaughlin and the 4th Dimension last night at the Jazzfest and - while they'd be a good booking in general for the festival - I did come away thinking that they might be more suited to The Glade. Yer modern jazzer, all hepped up on K-Wash, may find them a little...dated, maybe? I dunno, it was good and technically amazing, but I dunno if it was particularly close to the cutting edge. Also, it was mostly newer tunes - only really recognised You Know You Know in the encore. Fans of #Thunderthumb may be intrigued to low that Gary Husband was in the band. dentalplan
Aren't they for an early Pyramid slot next? Isn't that how these things work? They have Hookworms and Jane Weaver among others supporting on the Manchester leg of their tour. Some bang for yer buck right there.
