Moseley Jazz Funk and Soul, 2 weeks after Glastonbury

Obviously Chaka would be great, hoping for Pharcyde and The Comet Is Coming as well

Wonder if Melle Mel will stick around to rap on 'feel for you' with Chaka?

I'd be all over that at Glasto (and Chaka and Sugarhill Gang on their own)!

Some gems there. I'm getting more and more confident about Crazy P being at G, they have popped up on a lot of lineups in the last few weeks. Would be class.

Lee Fields is fantastic - was introduced to him by Sharon Jones and the DK (RIP)

Playing Amsterdam on Saturday of Glasto, my man.

The Glasto shaped hole is now this big

OK just checked, was originally scheduled for Saturday but now moved to Sunday as Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes are playing on Saturday there. And they're (Southside Johnny) also playing London on the Thursday of Glasto.

Could we have a New Jersey shore white man soul love in at Glasto?

Oooh imagine getting Fred and Bootsy! Shame The Funky Drummer has passed over to the great breakbeat in the sky.

New Ondatropica album now streaming at http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/latin/7717011/ondatropica-continues-caribbean-cultural-experiment-with-new-album. Perfect for a sunny afternoon on WH.

US tour in April, no European dates yet but fingers crossed they pop up on the farm.

Looks like they're gonna be in London in (early) June

Although it's maybe just Quantic and yer man from Frente Cumbiero.

Yeah, I thought the same.

Was sorry to hear about Clyde's passing the other week, but what a legacy, sampled in over 1000 songs:

With Kraftwerk now seemingly ruled out and Craig David being a possibility for the Friday Pyramid afternoon slot, I wonder if this means A Tribe Called Quest are maybe more likely to headline West Holts if they're there?

Are you trying to say that there is only room for one hip hop act on the Pyramid and that act.. is... Craig David?

I really hope this isn't true.

Hey, guys, you know what I listened to today? Solange and The Avalanches and The Jackson 5. That Saturday is going to be amazing, it's going to be glorious sunshine, we'll talk about it for years to come.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
