I would be totally tempted to join you.  I was looking at a video of a certain mr Yorke the other day and thinking how fine a bowler looks atop a scruffy persons head.

Which video could that have been... Just got stuck on watching parodies of it yesterday and can't get the song out of my head now :D

What is all this madness of buying hats before the festival? Part of my budget is for buying hat/s at Glastonbury. Love wandering around on the Wednesday looking at all the hat stalls. Less to carry in as well. Normally go for something wide brimmed like Nals to keep the sun out of my eyes. I am not mentioning the rain off my face.

This so much. My Glastonbury ritual involves buying two hats on site as soon as possible. One for comfort and one for shade. This is because I inevitably lose my hats, so even if I bring a hat, I buy at least two when I'm there.

I was lying earlier obviously. A thread about hats and I'm staying quiet???

I must admit I do have an ever expanding fleecy animal hat collection from Glastonbury purchases lol

buy it, it will be lucky I can fel it in my waters (they never lie)

Tbh I doubt whether I will be going to any shops before Sunday - but if I do, and see a suitable hat, I will definitely buy it!  I really hope I'll be done and dusted on Sunday and won't have to wait until secret sales.

Hats just do not suit me.  Suggest one for a middle aged woman with short hair - I always think hats only look good on cute young things with long hair!

Got this little beauty based on others recommendations from here.  I am definitely a middle aged woman and I definitely have short hair - if the hat looks ridiculous I'll blame my face/hair and not the hat (though I have to admit I like it on me - but I've long since gotten used to my face!)

Given your user name it would be a shame for you not to use similar accessories at least :)
