If we're destined to get BMTH, at least put Deftones on before them. Also noticed that fake poster has Chris Cornell on it. That would be ace. Saw him solo at Download a few years ago and it was a great show. The solo album he was touring was pants (imo) but he dropped enough classic tunes in there to make it worth while. And even if they weren't supposed to be, they may as well be now.

Probably decided to stop making it secret after Tim Burgess told literally everyone he could last year.

Still keep it as a kinda special slot but announce it. Being a bigger act means it'll still get people up, and having it announced might mean they get a more interested crowd. If they do what they've usually been doing and having a bigger-than-usual, upbeat act following them as well then it'd work. Something like James > Feeder, I'm expecting. And yeah, I think it's something like the full James interview was recorded in advance of it being aired next week, but they've aired snippets including the Glasto bit (probably thought nothing of it having to be held back). Something along those lines I think. Dunno.

Dunno. god i hope it's somebody a bit better than Feeder following them, but yeah i guess you're probably right - was no good having the secret element anyway when the bands wouldn't shut up about it. guess we'll just have to try and guess which Manchester band it'll be before it's announced next year! Unless they are playing the John Peel tent in an attempt to get bigger acts on there. Seems unlikely though unfortunately.
