I've never been to Avalon. Guess I'll have to try it this year...

I clearly need to get to Avalon more

I'm another Avalon fan, but it has it's own vibe, like other areas do, and if that's not your thing then fair enough. I personally can't have spent more than about an hour in the dance village in my 5 visits, it's just not for me. Other people can't get on with The Park, or Glade, or West Holts, whether because of music styles or general atmosphere. I'd certainly recommend giving Avalon a go, even if just for a couple of acts, but if you're not convinced, fair enough.

Another one for Avalon.

Loads of good booze up there. The people always good for talking bollocks to as well

Yeah I've had some lovely random chats there, good times

I've always just wondered through Avalon but never really paid any attention to it. It's normally the area where I realise that I'm lost. Think I went in the wooden pub but it was absolutely rammed. Will endeavour to give it more time this year.

Flagtopia for me. Love it up there. One of the things I look forward to the most is sitting up there and having a smoke in the sun. Much better than the stone circle.

Real toss up between Green Futures/West Holts/T&C for me. Spend a vast majority of the weeekend at T&C so went for that. However I mostly spent my Wednesday and Thursdays at the Green Futures areas and the majority of the acts I saw were at West Holts.

But yeah, I do absolutely love it up in the Circus fields and look forward to going there every single year! But I definately need to spend some more time in the Avalon Fields.

I really like it under the trees by the Glade, not so much the leftfield part, enjoyed that random bar between leftfield and the walkway that disappears into the trees and had karaoke on while i was there last year. Enjoy the spiritual fields too for a bit of a chill out and switching off from pretty much everything though never taken part in a single activity as i always had lots of vague plans to keep to. I always plan to spend more time at Greenpeace and then never do even though it's pretty close to camp yet i somehow never get a proper moment in there.

Where is this draught Guinness you speak of?

Sorry, only seeing this now @BenLFC.  They have it in the bar right next to the Acoustic Stage.

They used to have it in Bread & Roses as well, but the Acoustic Stage bar is the only place now as far as I know.  I have walked around and searched quite a bit!

The Park was just the essence of the festival for me. It really felt like the heart and soul of it all. When I think about going back this year, my first thought is always sat on the hill near the Glastonbury sign with a pint of ale looking over the whole site.
