Then it changes to Friends / How I Met Your Mother / Disney HD when you cohabit with a woman and / or have a teenage daughter / numerous daughters.*

I've tried, people, Lord I've tried:

"But BLACKADDER is on!"

*I generalise of course.

Christ that sounds awful.

Started average, brilliant in the middle, pants after Niles and Daphne got together.

3 4 5 6 + 7 is the highest quality sitcomage of all time imo.

But yeah, totally pants from 8 onwards.

Noo spoilers! I just started watching it haha (I obviously shouldn't complain since it is an old show but I didn't expect to get Frasier spoilers in a festival thread)

Hehehe, they really dropped a bollock with casting Daphne's family, didn't they? Some of the worst decisions/acting i've ever seen on telly.

God, didn't they.

I wonder if Easty sounds like Daphne's 'bruvver'?

5 listens. This is where i'am at;

1. Decks Dark

2. Present Tense

3.  Burn the Witch

4. The Numbers

5. Ful Stop

6. Identikit

7. Glass eye

8. True Love Waits (live version would be much higher)

9. Desert island disk

10. Daydreaming

11. Tinker tailor

Pretty much love the top 9. All its missing for me is a couple of up tempo, edgier numbers like a bodysnacthers or There There.

Moralising endings aside, I have a soft spot for Will & Grace & the comedy of bitchy insults. Sue me, Mister Sister!

She's got a brother?? Can't wait to hear his accent! It's probably cockney which totally fits Daphne's pseudo-manc accent..

She's got several. 3 of the most disparate actors ever to pretend to be in the same family. Astonishing.

I don't know if someone has metioned it yet but Holly Herndon will be there with them at the Roundhouse gigs according to the last Facebook status.

Anyway, back to Frasier. Can't wait to see  Daphne's acting-shipwreck family haha. I might binge watch Frasier tonight.

    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
