for anyone who was using http;//www.checkpage.co.uk to monitor the radiohead ticket pages and got driven nuts by minor changes that happened periodically on the page but were nothing to do with tickets going on sale, you'll be pleased to know that the checker is now much improved and can be set-up (and has been for the RH pages) to only look at a particualar part of the page ... so those unnecessary and annoying alerts have now stopped.

I've started having palpitations when you post on this thread again!  Any idea if we'll be put out of our misery soon re. the possible sub slot?

I know I'm a bit late to this but I've spent a bit of time getting the right order, so here's my list

  1. OK Computer
  2. The Bends
  3. Kid A
  4. A Moon Shaped Pool
  5. In Rainbows
  6. Amnesiac
  7. Hail To The Thief
  8. The King Of Limbs
  9. Pablo Honey

it's good but it's not right, I give you a C- overall satisfactory but needs improvement

I recommend more listening to Hail To The Thief and less talking in class

not really, tho I don't think it'll be this week. Maybe next week, perhaps.

Sorry Sir!

Yeah to be honest I think I do need to listen to HTTT more, it always fails to capture me like their other albums but I'm perhaps being unjust in not giving it a few more listens.

Emily said 2 weeks to someone on Instagram today (read it on here), so we'd probably find out if Radiohead are doing a proper set then you'd say?

Let's hope they didn't think the secret sub was a good enough idea to repeat.

She actually said "couple", so that doesn't always mean two unfortunately.

I was telling a mate who was questioning my continued belief that they'll play the circumstantial evidence we have that at the moment, have I missed anything out?

One of Bastille told someone ages ago they were subbing Disclosure on the Friday night
Loaded (who are normally a decent source for Glasto rumours) have said all along that the Other headliners were likely to be Disclosure/New Order/BMTH while Neil has heard from the journalist that the most unlikely of the three was probably BMTH
Neil's source on Radiohead who has been right every time they've been there, including the 'secret' set at The Park a few years back has said for months that they'd be there but weren't headlining

Anything else?

Don't listen to the gentleman! Hail to the Thief is the one of the poorer Radiohead albums, you are correct with your assumptions, Sir!

    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
