Previously with them if i bought a record on a Monday it would usually come the following Thursday/Friday

They're usually pretty quick. Although they did send me a couple of records I didn't want last time.

It was suggested last summer that the headliners for the next two years were already penciled in. That makes me think Radiohead are not being lined up to headline next year, just as they weren't in the discussion this year. Assuming their album comes out within the next few months, why would you wait to book Radiohead as a headliner until the second year of their album tour? If they were to headline the festival, this year would make infinitely more sense than next, yet clearly they aren't headlining next year.

At the end of the day, I'm a huge fan and I appreciate that seeing Radiohead is a rare and special thing. If I had the choice between them playing a sub headline slot this year, and maaaaaybe headlining next, I'd take the sub headline slot all day long. We've all been waiting years for them to play the Pyramid stage again, and I'll have the biggest grin on my face if they get announced this year. 

Muse, Adele and Coldplay probably won't be touring next year whereas Radiohead will.

The "next 2 years' headliners already being booked" comment was based on the fact so many acts were available. It would make sense if this year had already been booked up, so Radiohead were asked to play next year instead.

They could easily play the Friday  night and still headline Other on Sunday - unfortunately. 

If the dream happens, I'm leaning towards new order into radiohead on the Saturday. Makes most sense to me

Really hope that rules out BMTH. They are such a waste of a slot to be honest. If something more concrete rules them out, that could pave the way for Radiohead. Would they headline against Coldplay though? Or could New Order shimmy over to Sunday?

I'm a big metal fan, been to Download loads of times, fan of Architects and other similar bands, but I really can't fucking stand them. Awful band. Boggles my mind that they've made it into the mainstream. So many better bands that could fill that slot...bands that don't piss on their fans for example. 

If Glastonbury wants to promote metal more, there are hundreds of bands that should get the chance above them. Deftones, for one, should be there this year.

They need to book metal bands that would actually appeal to the general Glastonbury fan (whatever that means). Dillinger would be a great start. Essentially most bands on the past few Arctangent lineups would be great.

Would be a massive fan of Radiohead on the Other Stage. They can potentially play a full set and would separate the wheat from the chaff in terms of the crowd. Just can't see them putting on Radiohead vs Coldplay but you never know. 

Happy to see there's a good chance BMTH aren't playing, opens up all sorts of possibilities for the Sunday night Other headliner. Any chance PJ Harvey might headline?

RE: BMTH, isn't the point that they're no longer a metal band? I wouldn't know myself as I've never listened to them (save for 1 song posted on here) but people on here say they get a lot of Radio 1 play now that they've ditched their roots

That would be unfair really as I will be in a sorry state by the Sunday night.

I was hoping for someone really shit on the Sunday so I can go home and not feel guilty. If it's New Order then I will have to stay.

Coldplay are the headliner I least care about, so if Radiohead play against them I'll be over the moon. Just can't see it happening.

New Order seem pretty set for the Saturday though so I probably wouldn't worry too much

Deftones aren't exclusive to download are they? They're my big (outside) hope for this year, given I can't make it to their Wembley gig.

I'd much rather see Radiohead headline the Pyramid outright. I don't see why people are so sold to the idea of them subbing. Seems a little desperate. Would be good, but wouldn't have anything on a night stopper.
