Deftones aren't exclusive to download are they? They're my big (outside) hope for this year, given I can't make it to their Wembley gig.

I don't think they are. I'd love them to play but I just don't know if they are on the Glastonbury radar. Maybe that will be one of the big surprises. I guess if BMTH do play, Deftones could always sub them?

Yeah Metallica hardly had recent top 40 music either. I'd love to know what's stopped Radiohead from headlining again after all these years.

In all fairness it's got to be more from the band's side. Headliners are starting to run thin on the ground and you'd have thought Michael and Emily would've preferred Radiohead to Muse at the very least.

I did too. I think the delirious Radiohead fever is only happening over here.  Give it time, I bet someone will think it might be true!

I'm tempted to try and given it some legitimacy to see if anyone jumps on the bandwagon

Coldplay are the headliner I least care about, so if Radiohead play against them I'll be over the moon. Just can't see it happening.

New Order seem pretty set for the Saturday though so I probably wouldn't worry too much :P

Thank god for that. I will be able to scuttle away on the Sunday night with my pride in tact :P

pyramid before Adele has gotta happen! Now I'm actually attending and I missed out on Radiohead tickets this has to happen!

JoeyT ain't lying. It might be wrong or old info but it's info passed on in good faith.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
