The decider was remembering my Radiohead loving friend lives in Camden, and the fact there may be (fingers crossed) a league 1 play off final at Wembley on the sun.

You lucky ***"!£! I'm so jealous, i had two mobiles and a computer trying to get through this morning for Saturday but no dice on any of them, ugh. Kudos to you good man.

I'm working Friday so won't be able to look at a computer. I'm relying on my other half getting me the single ticket for Roundhouse that I need. I'm not holding much hope out. I can't justify the expense of the GA tickets for New York, it isn't like there isn't anything else to do whilst there. 

@Hugh Jass - what a day, hope you've got a pint planned this evening!

The thought of seeing Radiohead go on stage at midnight in a warm and balmy Portugal is incredibly exciting.

Yep, I went for the Premier Inn in Hampstead just up the road from the Roundhouse for £59 :) I saw it was that price earlier in the week and hoped it hadn't gone up by the time I managed to get tickets.

Thats good. Its not quite lucking out and gettig tickets for England v Wales in lens at a cool £20.00 a pop... when im sat there on friday, drenched in sadness from not getting Radiohead tickets, its this fact that will get me theough. Ive used all my luck up in one go!

      I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.

      People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

      Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!

      Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
