rawaudioinput
That's a shame that you only lasted 30 seconds, then again for you I suppose that comes naturally

But, no, I can't see them being at Reading either. Saying that, they won't be the heaviest band that will ever have been booked and other nu-metal bands have all been booked recently.i.e. Limp Bizkit,Deftones Tbf in both cases they were booked when there was a heavy headliner at the weekend. Limp Bizkit or Korn make much more sense when they're on the same day or weekend as Metallica.

In hindsight it was a bit of a general term but it was probably just a name applied to the metal bands coming through at the time rather than a specific niche of the genre. Quite often Slipknot and Disturbed were thrown in with the nu-metal genre as well. two more bands who didn't sound like each other.

oneoftherest
So Major Lazer, Architects and At The Drive In are UK exclusive. Muse are European exclusive, which is strong af.

oneoftherest
Interesting that Bastille aren't an exclusive, probably makes them very likely for Glasto

Bastille and ML must be subbing based on that.
losing44
Worth noting that as well as pendulum being announced for nova rock, knife party was too. So if r+l have got pendulum, likely that knife party would play too, so quadruple pay for them across the weekend? aha!

How would this work though as Pendulum would have to be a sub and Knife Party are too big to do anything less than headlining the NME and obviously they aren't going to sub main stage and then run over to play the Knife Party set. It probably leads exactly to that R&L don't have Pendulum. If they are booked for Creamfields then there won't be any issue with that as KP could play a different day completely or play later in a tent as tents don't finish until 4hrs approx after main stage finishes.
