Everyone seems pretty sure there will be a co-headline, probably down to R+L seeming to love it now and also the fact that there are so many bands that could co-headline, personally i still think the most likely is Royal Blood/Alt-J but i'm hoping for Royal Blood/You Me At Six.

It looks like Grimes won't turn up this year so I see her getting a decent slot in 2017. Probably sub nme although wouldn't be surprised with a decent slot on main instead.

Could Florence or Muse be in with a chance of headlining?

Could see something along the lines of:

Kasabian // Ymas // Catfish         Enter Shikari

Florence // The xx // Wolf Alice        Frank Turner

Muse // The Weeknd // A Day To Remember         Chase & Status

I find it strange that Florence isn't doing anything in the UK bar BST this year

I know this wouldn't be a preference for a lot of people but with Blink (and Matt Skiba) likely to release an album in the winter/autumn of this year is there a chance of them playing in 2017, if so where abouts? R&L seem to be (recently) the only festival they do in the UK so would that put them in the running for 2017?

I doubt they'll play again so soon. More likely for Download if anywhere, I'd say.

Chris from YM@6 told me they aren't playing next year. Doing Glastonbury.

Then again, him & Matt both told me they were subbing 2014 & ended up being third down.

I doubt they'd play again that soon, especially without Tom and without him I can't see them headlining unless the album does really well, which despite being a huge Blink fan I don't see it doing, If they did do it they'd probably be subs

ADTR should have a new album out between now and the 2017 festival, so if they're not playing this year (probably not), it's safe to assume they'll have a decent slot next year. Same goes for C&S, as long as their new album does better than Brand New Machine...

I would say Shaun's line-up looks fairly plausible at this stage. Although Years & Years headlining NME feels a bit adventurous.

Unfortunately no as they were there in 2010 and 2017

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
