Incorrect. They are there to pad out line-ups of shitty festivals/stages. Without these selfless troopers, bookers might have to actually take a chance on interesting acts. Can't be having that.

But.....but.... they're playing all over the world. Look!

And the cheeky fuckers actually have the audacity to charge people money to see them!

Oh, since I'm probably not going

Minor Threat

Fugazi

Cap'n Jazz

Captain We're Sinking

As it would mean reunions for 3 and first UK shows for 2.

Oh and whoever you guys like the most, want you to be happy :)

EDIT: Also missed out on the recent reunions from My Bloody Valentine and At-The Drive so I'll add those and I want to see some signs of Weezer doing some more shows over here so I'll have them down too

Man, you really missed out on At-The Drive In, that was absolutely amazing, anyone who watched Kasabian at reading that year must be devastated

I know and my brother first weekend festival was Leeds 2012 and he saw Feeder instead

I'm kind of glad that I was still to young to go as I would have Kasabian like a fool and I wouldn't have lived it down for the rest of my time alive as I only got into them last year. Made up for missing out on their 2012 reunion by catching Refused at Leeds this year though :P

One or a few of these would be epic!

Barry Gibb (any place, any time!!!)

Madness (want to see them at a UK gig)
Miles Kane

Nile Rodgers ft. Chic

Jeff Lynne's ELO
Manic Street Preachers

Airbag

Steven Wilson

Major Lazer
Suede (wasn't at Glasto this year...)
Paul Weller (same...)
And a Scubaroots reunion!

The Cure, ATD-I and FF was a great set of headliners. Good times

Justice, The Cure, and ATDI, pal.

Also Los Camp!, The Cribs, and The Future Of The Left, there were some great bands in between the long boring periods of sitting around the campsite doing fuck all.

Kasabian were fucking banging that weekend and I don't care what anyone says. Better than Foos anyway.

They Cure were unbeatable, granted, and Joy Formidable/Blood Red Shoes slayed, but Kasabian were still a highlight.

I really enjoyed foos that might actually, the crowd was amazing, quality atmosphere

A-TDI was definitely the act of the weekend, it felt like something historical, I still talk about it to people often

It's a shame I don't see them or The Mars Volta ever playing again

    • Broco have European dates in Czechia and Slovenia the day before and after so I would be shocked if it were them, despite them having no other UK festival presence this summer.   Bilmuri are a shout as I don't think it'll be someone massive.
