Coldplay's half-time show is supposedly Glastonbury inspired. Whatever that means. Didnt quite see where the glasto theme was there....unless they are going to get beyonce and bruno on stage and do a medaly of all the previous headliners hits
admscott
Me neither... maybe Chris Martin has been using composting toilets for the past couple of days and had a quick gong massage before running into the stadium?
Wanderlei
I've managed to stay awake through Coldplay (which was the big test - although Beyonce's body did help me out), now it's down to the business end of the game. Go on, Manning!

Gong massage? Is that a typo? You sit or lie in front of a gong whilst sombody hits with varying degrees of strength and rapidity. The noise kind of just washes over you. There's one in the healing fields. It's very lahverly. Ooh must try that. I always intend to take time out in the healing fields but end up running round like a blue-arsed fly, or people watching in the T&C fields (which is therapeutic in its own way). Not much happening on the pitch it seems (watching it with sound off). Other half's a big fan and always reckons Denver will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Maybe not this time though. dizzymoo
Actually misread time remaining so every chance for Denver to do what they do best!

thurlow84
Morning folks Here's the coldplay glastonbury themed superbowl halftime video for those who were sensible enough to go to bed instead of stopping up to watch the game

lucyginger
Morning!! Just had a read through the last couple of days! I didn't make it here all weekend! Bad Ginger! bennyhana22
Afternoon, everyone. This is my third attempt at the latest post! I did a live gig blog in-between support and Villagers last night and thought it had sent and landed but no. then tried to do one on the train this morning only for my phone to decide spontaneously to reboot just as I was finishing! Anyway, Villagers were bloody brilliant last night. Notwithstanding the seated venue (why would anyone...?), Child 3 and I had a great time. Man, are they good musicians. Aidan Knight was amazing as support (vinyl duly purchased from the man himself). He came on solo with just a guitar, and I was really disappointed...for about 20 seconds! Just fab. Check him out, dudes. Gotta go. All busy here at t'mill. Ben x

thurlow84
Tonights journey home is starting by listening to MARTHA
dizzymoo
I'm off to choir tonight (and pub after which is essential part of honing our skills). One of the songs we're learning is 'The Longest Time' by Billy Joel - great fun arrangement for our amateurish but enthusiastic singing. Managed to get youngest out of the house today to play badminton, no mean achievement as he's done no regular exercise for 4 months. Think I may have overdosed a bit on St John's Wort over the weekend - ended up feeling a bit manic (hence watching Superbowl at 3am). Looks like I'll have to choose between feeling less depressed and sleeping..
