kellly
The new album is out tomorrow. Ordered a Vinyl copy. If it isn't here when I get home from work, I'll be calling everyone a twat in protest. Great word. Not often heard but has such an impact...especially used with the good old fashioned V's
FuzzyDunlop
Great word. Not often heard but has such an impact...especially used with the good old fashioned V's I say it quite a lot to be honest. I'd say it is my favourite swear word. Untz
Got my tickets for their tour. I'm too poor to buy vinyl at the minute, but I'll have my first pay day shortly before the gig so I'll come out with my arms full of merchandise no doubt. My favourite swear word rhymes with runt. Amy Lawn
c**t is not a bad word. Although the filter on this board doesn't agree. Edited July 23, 2015 by GETOFFAMYLAWN

fatyeti24
i quite like them, good music for a quick blast. i've bought a ticket to see them later in the year. but i have difficulty drawing distinctions between their tunes let alone albums. they have a sound alright. 'garage band drums and bass with shouting' is what it'll not be known as to any scenesters. which is fine.
GlastoEls
I thought they were sensational live at Glasto. Singer really charismatic and a lot of passion. But I agree with above, I bought a couple of their CDs before the festival and I can't distinguish between tunes either!
FuzzyDunlop
Was anyone else at the Ritz tonight? A barnstorming set, even if the crowd were a bit flat. Jolly Fucker was a highlight
TheBurns
I saw them saturday night in Dublin thought they were fantastic, good crowd and they seemed to enjoy themselves. One of them swapped tshirts with some chap in the front

Jolly Fucker was a highlight i was there, but i didn't stick it out until the end. i've come to the conclusion that i can only handle them in small doses. FuzzyDunlop
They only did an hour! The poet beforehand was a different touch for a gig. Personally I really enjoyed it. It is not easy listening, but I again was impressed by how intense it was.

FloorFiller
I watched a bit of these at Bestival whilst on LSD. It was fucking horrible. Lasted about ten minutes before I had to retreat and spent the next two hours attempting to recover
Sawdusty surfer
i was there, but i didn't stick it out until the end. i've come to the conclusion that i can only handle them in small doses. Exactly that. Saw them at Dismaland last week. Enjoyed it for about half an hour but then wandered off to see some other stuff. Don't think that I could handle a 1 1/2 hour set. rubenz
Off to see the mods on T day at the bierkeller in Bristol hopefully celebrating a ticket purchase (or a good way to drown my sorrows..)
The_Amazing_Oblong
Saw them last night at The Institute in Birmingham. I thought they were good although the crowd was a bit on the thin side and a little subdued until right at the end. However I honestly thought Steve Ignorants Slice of Life blew them away in the support slot.
Untz
All of this talk about dull crowds has given me real high hopes for their London show with the city's reputation for providing a lively crowd. Crikey.

Crikey. how's your capacity for being shouted at and called a c**t? (from the stage, i'm making no comment about London crowds)
Untz
how's your capacity for being shouted at and called a c**t? Sounds like a perfect night out to me. I saw them at the festival this year so I know what I'm getting myself into.
FloorFiller
at Bestival, Slaves who were playing before them played to a rammed tent, but then it absolutely emptied out for these which surprised me. i guess a lot of people find them just as hard to watch as i did

At Glastonbury the crowd diminished a little but most of the people at Slaves probably went off to see George Ezra and were replaced by slightly older people (as in the average age of the crowd moved from 20 to 30) whereas Bestival might not be capable of that. I can't believe you're not on board with Sleaford Mods man. Just don't take them seriously - it's great fun and that's the point of it. Fun for people who seek a little more than repeatedly shouting "LONDON UR DEAD" or whatever.

Fun for people who seek a little more than repeatedly shouting "LONDON UR DEAD" or whatever. i can't see myself ever listening to their recorded stuff - it just doesn't really interest me, and it's all the fucking same. but the bit i saw of them live (that wasn't totally freaking me out) was pretty great actually, and if they ever play a festival and i have a gap in my schedule i'll definitely go to see them. disappointed i didn't go see them on the Saturday of Glastonbury actually as i'm pretty sure i had nothing else going on
