Ok phrase the question slightly different. Wimbledon draw a premiership giant at home and your allowed to pick the opposition team. What kind of team do you pick?

kids and b teamers. id rather beat someone like man city, utd or arsenal than have a loss!

I spend enough games seeing players I haven't heard of. If Wrexham were lucky to get a premiership giant l want to see augero, hazard, Sanchez etc. It's all opinions but I don't think I have ever known anyone share yours before!

So when the draws are made would you rather your team be drawn against Aldershot than Arsenal, because it gives you a better chance of progressing? I think you'd be in the minority there.

it would be a feckin' clever draw too, cos Aldershot went out before the 3rd round. :P

well the further along they go, the more money they get and the bigger chance they have to play a bigger club in a more important match. thats like saying you want england in a group with germany and spain for the euros☺!

No because I see England's players go head to head with the world's top players all the time.

I never see my team's players playing against them.

Having seen the team I support beat the league champions (admitedly the gap has grown  in the last 25 years) I know that this doesnt always happen.  Seeing how wrexham can compete against a league 1 standard version of a premiership side doesnt massively excite me as I see us play that level side every 2-3 years in the fa cup and generally cope fine.  Its the unknown of how they manage against a top class side, which players stand up to the plate that interest me more as its so rare.

Well the club may favour the draw, there's no doubt however that most of the fans would have preferred the win.

Interesting to see their old Chief Executive skulking in the shadows on the tv coverage later in the game, and good to see my old bedroom window still gets used to view the games - though I never wrote anyone's name on my chest!

I think they're all very well off but look nothing like each other?

Oh c'mon ... they might not be identical twins, and I could have spent longer choosing pics to get a better similarity, but there's a definite resemblance.

(I was reminded of their similarity after seeing Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on TV last night and thinking he's got a 2nd job as a Dave Grohl impersonator :P)

Jonjo Shelvey on his way to Newcastle for £12m. Even though we're selling to a relegation rival and could bite us on the arse, I still think that it's a good piece of business for Swansea for a player who wasn't a starter.

Hopefully we can use these funds to finance a deal for either Andre Gray from Burnley, or better still a return for Bony (unlikely I know)

I'm not happy at all about the 12m shelvey reports. Seems an awful deal for Toon and could give a rival money to get an actually good player.

Saivet on the other hand I'm delighted about. Since tiote became dogshit we've needed a good dm.

    • I mean selling out (more or less) three consecutive nights at Wembley is pretty good in my view. TBF of you haven't heard of him, that's your problem! The cover of Fast car with Tracy Chapman has been streamed over a billion times. That's Swift/Rodrigo/Styles levels of streaming. But it's all subjective and each to their own at the end of the day
    • Ok, so by your argument, you'd be happy if they booked LadBaby and two new K-Pop bands that have just blown up to headline as you are free to go elsewhere 😉
    • Is it so wrong I didn't know who he was before he booked his Wembley shows? The fact its among the gigs that has had the most people I know going on Instagram stories hints that he's popular. I don't deny that.   Whether its enough to get him into this conversation is another matter.

    • Ugh, no thanks. I don't deny he's popular. There's no accounting for taste, I guess.
